In a post‑presentation conversation, an attendee (Speaker A) praises the presenter (Speaker B) as the most motivational speaker of a multi‑day event, noting that the talk gave a clear vision and actionable homework that led to immediate hiring results. Speaker B reveals that the talk was not delivered from prepared slides; instead, after a series of early‑morning inspirations—including an idea called the “project folder with the networking”—she decided to abandon the script, step backstage, and simply coach the audience in her authentic style. This improvisational, coaching‑focused approach included giving the audience a concrete homework task, which Speaker A used to screen 24 resumes, narrow them to ten, then to a top five, and ultimately extend a job offer within days. The dialogue also references other speakers (Eric Klein, Rob Beardsley) and a backstage colleague (Hunter) who supported the pivot.

Booked this call because during your presentation, you moved me the most of all three days. You were, you're the most motivational speaker that affected me. I mean, Eric Klein's story was awesome and I can relate to that. Rob Beardsley, super intelligent dude. But you, you gave me the vision of how I can change our model and our goals. But you went so fast. I missed so much. And I understand you're supposed to, right? You're up there for a little bit.
Well, okay, so. So here, let me just let you in on a little secret how the whole thing happened. So we had prepared for weeks and weeks and weeks. I had my slides, everything. And then Monday morning at like 3:30am, something woke me up and gave me an inspired idea, which was the project folder with the networking. And I couldn't let it go. And so I came to raise Masters and coach it on Tuesday. And then Thursday morning at like 4:30 in the morning, I wake up and I was like, I can't like. And like, this talk just doesn't inspire me. I'm like, I can't do this. And so anyway, I just was like, I just gotta go up there and be me. Which I just coach people. Like, I'm really good at coaching. And we were backstage and I said to Hunter, I just looked at him like, I'm not doing my talk. And he looks at me, he's like, what are you gonna do? I'm like, I'm just gonna be me. I'm just gonna get up there and I'm just gonna coach. And he's like, okay, so that's what you got. You got what? It looks like for me to kick some butt, you know, give people homework, make.
Yeah, yeah. And it did all of that, right? Because it gave me homework. That night I went back to my room and I had 20, I think I told you I had 24 resumes for an open position to analyze. Doing the jet CPT gave me 10, asked it some more questions, did this, did that, gave me the top five. I interviewed them and we're gonna make an offer to somebody within the next couple days here. So. Awesome.
Good
job.
So did you. Did the. Did you do the project folder with all the networking?
