Kathryn and Catherine Bell discuss how assembling the right team of experts makes ambitious dreams possible. They use the Vanderbilt-built Marble House as an example, emphasizing the importance of having a clear vision, writing down specific goals, and focusing on the what rather than the how.
Hey, everyone. Kathryn and Steve here. We were just summer cottage shopping over here at Newport. So I don't know, is this the White House behind this? Is this our house? Your house? It's the marble house. Soon to be our house. But to tell you a little bit more about that real estate transaction, Ms. Kathryn Bell.
Here's what I love about the story about this house. It was one of the Vanderbilts actually built it. And what's extraordinary is the power of having a vision and goals and bringing incredible teams of people together to make this happen. It's the one of my favorite things of, I don't have to be the smartest person on my team. I just need to have the smartest people on my team.
That's why she's got me. It's real good.
The architects and the designers and everything that they brought together to make this happen really turned out to be an extraordinary, you know, work of art. So with that, you know, it's always good to be writing down your goals and being really, really specific about what it is and your vision and putting the team together to make it happen. You don't have to worry about the how, just the what. Focus on the what and then being resourceful to actually make it happen and staying laser focused on whatever that is. And look at the magnificent, you know, creation that came out of somebody just having goals and knowing what they wanted. And I mean, again, it's breatht. So I'd love to know what you are doing inside of your goals and dreams and what breathtaking aspirations you have that you know the what. You just don't know the how. But just keep holding on to the vision and moving forward and putting together the team and it'll happen.
Oh, by the way, babe, I just bought that for you. You're welcome. So with that, may you never awake from the American dream.
