A narrated YouTube site-update for Jake's Corner RV Park (Titan Impact Group, uploaded Dec 19, 2022). The speaker walks the grounds describing landscape work (mesquite tree trimming, fence removal, clearing a basin that leads to the wash and future walking paths) and documents the day-by-day construction progress (office framing and foundation, road-fill/dirt added ~4 ft in places). The video also names crew members (Mario) and a friend, Ken, and closes by inviting viewers to follow for the finished result.

Jake's corner RV park update. All right, we're doing a quick little video here about Jake's RV park. As you recall, last time, we were gonna have to take out that tree down there because we're gonna put the new office over there. However, this space cleared out for us, and we always loved these mesquite trees that were just twisted and everything else like that. So the landscape crew is coming in. They've been trimming trees. We're taking down this fence. You can see the fence posts and everything, and trim this tree. The office is going to start along this pad right here and come out like this. And so part of the office will be this beautiful mesquite little park right here. So we're excited about cleaning things up. Everybody else is excited, too, here in the park. All right, here we are again with shakes. You recall, this whole thing was really overgrown and stuff. It's still pretty overgrown. But the landscape landscape crew has come down here, and they've done their thing. We're clearing out a lot of stuff so that this basin can be used properly again. You weren't able to see all that. That's taking you all the way to the wash. The wash is right there. And so we're cleaning things up. We're getting the mesquite trees to where you can see them. These ugly bushes like that we'll get rid of. We'll thin stuff. People will be able to take little walks and stuff over to the wash, watch the river and stuff. And obviously, we'll get rid of all this concrete and all of this brush, but already looking good. All right, here we are, day number two of construction over at Jake's. You can tell people are busy, but look how, like I said, this is one of my favorite parts of Jake's. Absolutely spectacular. And look how great it looks now. Got the guys working on it. So we've got lots of trees we got to get rid of. There's Mario working, but getting the frame for the office built. So anyways, this is what happens. A lot of people. I mean, all this was just cleanup, but sometimes owners who are absentee, they get tired of paying maintenance bills and everything because they don't do it themselves because, you know, they're not real men like yours truly. And this is what happened. So here we are, video two for day two at Jake's. This here is my best friend, Ken. He's the only guy I know that's been retired longer than I am. So this is what happens. This is. He likes to Be rich and anonymous. But he's. He's been retired a lot longer than I am. He's. He's been going on 20 years now, and he's had a rough Life. He's only 43, but. And he gets in there and he starts it up. I. I have him made a liar out of me, didn't I? Yeah. I, I, I. I have him mechanic on all my stuff because he likes to tinker with everything. You buy him something brand new, he'll have it torn apart the next 10 minutes. So he loves to. I know how stuff works. So, hey, we business. This is what happens when you have millionaires for mechanics. All right, we're just doing the final little video here to show that what happens Whenever you got a crew you can trust and get on with it. This is my favorite part of the park. I want the basin that we end up doing way down there. I want it to be very similar as far as the walking path and stuff like that. Speaking of walking, look, they're just bringing their own fence now. Oh, my God. This is why we can't have nice things. All right, last video of the evening. Everybody's tired, wants to go home. The good news is me and ken can still hang with mexicans. We won't let him know that. So this is the foundation of the new office. As I said, we were going to go where those guys are parked, but now we get to tie in this beautiful mesquite tree park and everything. It's done from here, there, and then forward. We just got to put the forward right here. It was all we could do to finish this thing off. We were about ready to go on life support, but we did have to fill in some new dirt and stuff like that. We had to build about, you, know, four feet wide on there, so. And tack it down and everything. So a little bit road construction and now the foundation. Follow us to see the after result.
