Catherine Bell shows Jake's Corner RV Park and its witness tree, the only one on the property that predates the 1884 stagecoach stop. They're planning to clean the area and add a plaque to make it a destination within the park.
1884.
A plaque (and small stopping-point features: clearing brush, signage).
The tree is older than 1884 / older than the stagecoach stop.
Foreign. So one of the things I, I did this in another video, but it was cool because we brought Catherine out here today to see her perspective. Because sometimes when you're in the middle of it all, you do what you do, but you can't, you can't really appreciate it. But Catherine says, this is amazing. Our Witness tree. And again, Jake's was a stagecoach stop back in 1884. And this tree is actually older than that. So it was here since the beginning. It's probably the only one in our park. Well, it is the only one in our park that's that old. So we clean it up and, and obviously we got to get rid of the, the brush and stuff. But yeah, we're going to make something nice here, have a little plaque and stuff like this. This will be one of the many stopping points to enjoy at Jake's RV Park.
