A short spoken segment (YouTube video) arguing that money and time can both meaningfully create positive impact; the speaker recounts receiving emails about families inspired to adopt teenagers from the foster-care system and expresses strong emotional approval of those outcomes. The piece encourages participation in impact giving or volunteering to make a difference.
If people think that money doesn't make a difference, you've not given enough away because it does make a difference. It makes a huge difference, you know, and even if you don't have the money, you have the time, you know, like there's lots of ways to support them and to really fulfill on what that is, you know, in your life and then when you start participating in it and then start like when I get these emails about these families that were so inspired and like really go out of their comfort zone and go get a teenager out of the foster care system and like in the difference that it's making and how like these kids lives are being changed, I mean there's like it makes my heart sing like crazy. So imagine if you were making a difference where you want to, you know, letting your heart sing because you're a part of making that difference you're here to make right.
