Triumph Over Tragedy - Discovering Profits in the New World

Steve Wahl of Titan Impact Group introduces a video series promoting "compassionate capitalism": buying and rehabilitating COVID-impacted non-performing mortgage notes to help homeowners resume payments and to convert those notes into performing assets over roughly 12–36 months. He frames this approach as both a moral and profitable strategy for economic recovery and invites viewers to become funding partners.

My fellow compassionate capitalists, Steve Wahl here with Titan Impact Group. And over the next several days, well, who knows, maybe on forever, I'm going to do a little series of videos explaining who Titan Impact Group is, what we do, and how we can help your portfolio grow during these crazy times of uncertainty. And they are crazy times. Black is white, up is down, backwards is forward, forwards. Intelligence is stupidity, and somehow ignorance is woke. I don't understand it either. But what I do understand is money and how it works. And I understand that there is a need for compassionate capitalism in order to regain the American spirit, to make sure that nobody ever awakes from the American dream. You, you see, I grew up in the 80s. Well, I was born in 71, but I've got fond memories of growing up in the 80s. Bruce Springsteen, John Cougar Mellencamp. I mean, how could you not love the 80s? Ronald Reagan. There was a time as a sense of security, but also of adventure. And in fact, I recall that 35 years ago today. Wow, that is disturbing. I'm getting old. 35 years ago today, this space shuttle Challenger, along with Krista McGaffey, the first normal citizen to be flown into space, the space shuttle blew up today and that was a watershed moment. I remember that I was a freshman in high school and the world paused for a minute and we mourned. However, we didn't let that be the end of us. We pushed forward as we always do. That is the American spirit. We understand there's risk out there, but we take calculated risk. We don't become gamblers, we take calculated risks. There is a difference. And in today's crazy world where so many people have been affected by COVID 19, they've had their livelihood taken from them. They normally would be paying their mortgage, but because the government is literally telling them they can't work, they're having problems. And this is an opportunity. This is an opportunity for compassionate capitalism. It's real simple. Any mortgage that is behind right now is what they call a non performing note. Banks need to get those non performing notes off of their record. It's the law. They have to. We, along with our funding partners go and analyze these notes and pick the ones that are best for recovery. They have the best chances to recover. We then go to the homeowners and talk to them and figure out what their situation is and make arrangements for them to start paying their mortgage again. After 12 to 36 months of them continuously paying their mortgage, that note becomes what is called a performing note. We take that note, we put it on that performing note, we put it on the open market and let capitalism do its work. This is how we're going to recover from this great Depression. And it is a depression. There is a flood of notes that are going to be coming our way with forbearance being lifted. And it will be lifted soon. It has to be. They can't, they can't go on like this forever. So, as I said, I'm making these videos over the next several weeks and we'll have a little chat every day, let you get to know who we are, what we do, and invite you to be a funding partner. So until now, until we tomorrow. I'm Steve Wall. I know money, and I am a sentinel of the American dream.
