A short conversational clip between two speakers (recorded for a YouTube upload) reflecting on Thomas Edison’s iterative invention process and framing repeated failures as the pathway to eventual success. The speakers celebrate Edison’s failures and invite viewers to consider what they are failing at today as part of pursuing their dreams; the tone is informal and motivational.
My fellow compassionate capitalist. Here we are at the nerd factory. My little lady is. She's so excited. Anything you want to say to everybody out there before we go see where Thomas Edison invented about 42, gazillion everyday things he used.
So what I love about this is if you know anything about his story, all the things that he invented and created, and he created his whole life around being able to access the most creative parts of his brain to be able to invent all these things. So I'm super excited about going in and learning about all of this.
And again, you know, the thing is, is Thomas Edison, he failed and failed and failed and failed his way to success.
Yes.
So we get.
To go celebrate all his failures and what it actually led to. So what are you failing at today? What are you creating? What are you dreaming of? What are you trying so that eventually your dream comes true?
So, speaking of dreams, with that, may you never awake from the American Dre Dream.
