In this short instructional video, Christoffel Sneijders builds on his previous discussion of the "dreaming phase" and limiting beliefs, offering a concrete NLP exercise to shift negative emotions through body posture. He asks viewers to recall a sad or depressing situation, rate its intensity on a 1‑10 scale while looking down, then physically shake, take a deep breath, sit upright, and look slightly upward while re‑rating the same situation. He claims the upward posture and breath work will immediately lower the sadness rating, illustrating how posture, breathing, and visual focus can rapidly alter emotional states. Sneijders emphasizes that changing posture and language (e.g., saying "life will be hard" versus "life is hard") can create a powerful shift in perception, making it easier to let go of negativity and focus on positive thoughts. He encourages viewers to practice the tool, experiment with it, and use it whenever negative thoughts arise.

Hey, good to see you again. Back on the sequel, creating the life you want, have a flourishing life, create happiness, success, getting rid of all the things that hold you back, limiting beliefs, beliefs. Last time we spoke about the dreaming phase. What would you really have if you don't have those obstacles anymore, those limiting beliefs? And I thought, you know, last time I said, hey, let's dream, and I looked up. And give you a little NLP tool for that. When you think about something, say something depressing, and you start sitting like this and really become aware of it, then maybe there's an exercise you can do. Think about something you're sad about and really sit down Look down and really think about that sadness and gave it a figure from one to ten. Ten is extremely sad. One is happy like ever. When you've done that, then you shake yourself and take a deep breath. Sit straight up. Look a little bit up with your eyes a little bit up and think about the same, the same situation, the same whatever it was. Really think about it. And then again, rank it. Rank it from 1, not sad at all, 10, oh, extremely sad. And I dare to bet if you do that, you will notice a difference in your ranking. That when you do this, the sadness is higher than if you sit like this and look at it. A little bit up, that the sadness decreases right away. And that's one of the little things in NLP is extremely profound, extremely strong is our body posture, how we sit, how we think about something, how we act about something creates a huge shift in emotions we have. And those shift in emotions create much more force and appeal in life. The moment we stand up and say, oh, life is hard. Life will be hard. The moment you say, oh, life will be hard, it sounds already different. It feels different. It makes a huge difference. So every time you think about, it's hard, or whatever negativity, just change your body posture. Take a deep breath. Exhale. Put your head up. Think about the same. Hey, it's It's less. Okay, and then you can focus again. Red, blue. Let's go for the positive. Let's think about something else. And it is easier to throw away that negative sadness you had or you were feeling. Little tool for you. Play with it. Work with it. Enjoy it. See you next time. Have a good time. Ciao.
