In this short personal‑development video, Christoffel Sneijders builds on his previous discussion of limiting beliefs by introducing a simple awareness exercise. He asks viewers to look around their environment and mentally note every red object, then repeat the process for blue objects, encouraging them to close their eyes and verbally list the items. Through this contrast, he illustrates how our attention determines what we remember: focusing on judgments, negatives, or “why it doesn’t work” (the red) reinforces limiting beliefs, while deliberately shifting focus to positive possibilities (the blue) creates mental space for opportunities. The key takeaway is that intentional focus shapes memory and perception; by choosing to concentrate on what we want to achieve, we keep those goals vivid and avoid getting stuck in negative patterns.

Hi, back again. Last time we spoke about limiting beliefs, and now why it's so important having the awareness about judgment and not judgment, to be aware of it and how we do that. Now just imagine for this moment you would look around in your own room and really see all the things that are red. And look around in your room and look at all the things that are red. Or if you're not in your room, Look around you and see all the things that are red. The color red. Look around, see what's red, see what's red, see what's red, see what's red, see what's red, see what's red, see what's red, see what's red. Okay, and now close your eyes and call out all the things that are blue. Probably have some like, oh, that's hard. Now please look around and see all the things that are blue around you. Look around. What's blue? What's blue? What's blue? What's blue? What's blue? Just look around and see everything that is blue. Now close your eyes again and call out loud what is blue. And say yes if this is easier. This is the reason why we spoke last time about limiting beliefs and judgment. Where we focus on is what we remember. So the moment we focus on judgments and why it doesn't work and why it cannot be the case, we stuck ourselves. The moment we say, hey, we're going to look at something else, we create an opportunity. So what is the takeaway of this really short video today? Is, hey, where I focus on is what I keep in my mind and what I really can remember. The more I see why it doesn't work, why it cannot be the case, why he is wrong, why whatever, the more we remember it and the more we, more and more, we get stuck in that part. The more red we get connected with. Or we can change and think about all the good things we see and the changes and opportunities and look at all the blue things and get a really ingrained thing like Let's look at blood blue. Let's look at blue. Let's look at the other kind of opportunities there are. Have fun with it to focus on the things you really want to achieve because they will stay in your mind. Okay, see you next time.
