CL Palmer describes how he stopped letting others' opinions shape his identity and started trusting his intuition instead. He argues that most people live by external expectations from relationships and jobs, then feel dissatisfied. The shift happens when you rewrite your own story based on what you actually want.

When I decided that I was going to rewrite my reality, the first thing I did was change the way I looked at myself because I started to believe what other people were saying about me. But once I trusted myself in knowing who I was, I started to get in tune with my intuition. My inner voice became louder, and slowly but surely, I became whole. Because you will go through things in your life. You'll be in relationships, you will be working jobs that drain all the energy out of you, and people will start telling you exactly who you are and what you're supposed to be doing. But meanwhile, when you look in the mirror, you're not happy with what you see. You may be trying to live up to other people's standards or society's standards, and that may not be meant for you. You need to start writing the story according to what it is that you want it to be. If you need help rewriting this story, drop the word story in the comments and I will send you something that will get you standing in confidence and having complete control over the narrative in your life.
