Myron Golden identifies three Christian misconceptions about money: that wealth is evil and poverty is good, that having more money makes you evil, and a misreading of "the love of money is the root of all evil" to mean money causes every evil, when it means all kinds of evil.

Myron golden here. And today I want to talk to you about three myths Christians believe that keep them on the struggle bus. Number one, they believe that wealth is inherently evil and poverty is inherently good. Number two, they believe that somehow or another having more money makes you evil. So they believe money is evil, but they believe having more money makes you evil. And number three, they misinterpret the love of money is the root of all evil. The word all there is the key word in that verse and it doesn't mean that the love of money is the root of every single solitary evil in the world. Love of money is the root of all evil. Literally means the love of money is the root of all kinds, all types, all manner of evil, which means human beings will do all types of evil if they love money enough. Doesn't mean the love of money is the root of every single solitary evil in the world. If you want more information to understand this, better watch a video that I created on God's original design for wealth and it will impact your life at a very high level. Thanks for watching.
