5 things to do to get more recruiters sending you sweet, sweet job opportunities on LinkedIn. And stay to the end for 5 because this one takes almost no effort and it will make recruiters love you. First, you want to let recruiters know that you're open to opportunities. In the front of your LinkedIn profile, you can say open to, and you can fill this out. Second, make sure your LinkedIn headline is keyword optimized so you're showing up in searches, and it's also one of the first things that's going to catch the recruiter's attention to see if they're going to check your profile or not. Third, going off of that, sprinkle lots of the keywords that are perfectly in line with the next role you want so that again you're showing up in these searches. Fourth, sign into LinkedIn daily because LinkedIn tracks who's active on the platform and they're more likely to put you higher in searches, likely to send recruiters your way if they think you're actually going to respond to that person. They want everyone to have a good time. And five, this one is huge, recruiters will back me up on this one, always respond to inmails, which are these paid messages on LinkedIn, even if you don't give a toot about what it says. Why is this so important? Well, when you respond, the recruiter actually then doesn't have to pay for that message, so you're helping them to save an oodle ton of money. And second, here is the magic: you will be flagged on LinkedIn for recruiters as someone who is likely to respond. And so when you're tagged that way, you show up higher in searches. They're more likely to reach out to you. This is a full series of how to attract and land jobs from recruiters.
