Short excerpt of a motivational speech in which the speaker urges listeners to be themselves, accept their flaws, and focus on the purpose they were put on Earth to fulfil. The speaker emphasizes that being authentic removes competition and illustrates dedication with an anecdote about Michael Jordan being cut in 10th grade to explain relentless self-demand and hard work.

I don't want to be anybody else.
And with all of my flaws and trust me, I have some, all of my flaws, I want to do the thing he put me here to do. I have. You know why? Because when I'm here, when I'm here with me, I have no competition. Somebody asked Michael Jordan one time, why do you, I didn't work this hard. You know what he said? He says, because I got cut from my 10th grade.
I work harder. I, I demand more of myself than anybody else could ever demand.
See, when you get to the place where you've got a calling on your life and you understand, you understand the calling on your life purpose for which you created and you dedicate yourself to that purpose, you'll be one of the few people in the history of the world who ever does that. Because most people are too busy trying to be some.
