If you don't understand people, you don't understand business.
And it is so common in finance or in engineering because the mind of the people who go into these industries is so technical that sometimes they forget that the people who have to buy their service are human beings. And so the ones who really create lifelong relationships, deep, meaningful, trusting relationships, are the ones that never forget that fundamentally, regardless of what you do, you're in the people business.
