Imagine a world where every handshake seals an unbreakable bond, where every word exchanged builds bridges, and where every collaboration opens doors to unprecedented innovation. This is the power of trust. Trust is the foundation of every successful relationship, whether it's personal or professional. Trust is essential for collaboration, innovation and overall communication. Trust is also a scarce and honestly a fragile resource in the world today. So how can we build trust in ourselves and maintain it with others? There are three core elements that leaders need to demonstrate in order to have a significant amount of trust inside of their organizations. The first one, positive relationships. That means showing concern, care and respect for other people. It's being open, honest and overall, being a supportive leader. Number two, you have to have good judgment or expertise in the particular area that you're leading people. That means you have to have knowledge, wisdom, skills. Obviously the experience, the overall competence that gives your employees the confidence to trust you. Ultimately, that gives you credible guidance. And that doesn't mean you have to know everything. You don't need to be a know it all, but you can be a learn it all. And number three, you gotta have consistency. That means acting with humility, acting with integrity, being reliable and accountable to do the things that you say you're going to do. So by developing these three core elements, you will increase your trustworthiness inside of your organization.
