A short YouTube monologue by Myron Golden advising parents on raising successful children. Golden emphasizes leading by example — letting kids see both wins and losses — and argues that parental financial success increases credibility and influence; he invokes scripture to support the claim that wealth amplifies the perceived value of wisdom and says he wanted to make enough money to prevent his children from viewing drug dealing as an attractive option.

Hey, there, YouTube. Myron golden here. Today, I want to talk to you about how to have successful kids. One of the best things you can do to have successful kids is to let your children see you win, and let your children see you lose. Because your children need to see that when you lose, your arm doesn't fall off. And when you win, the whole world doesn't come to celebrate, but you have the resources that come from winning. I think one of the biggest mistakes parents make is they tell their children, you can do anything you want to do. You can be anything you want to be. And then they watch the parents do nothing and become nothing. We need to lead our children by example. And I think it's a really good idea to make a lot of money as a parent so that you have more influence over your kids. Scripture says that wisdom is better than strength, but a poor man's wisdom is despised. Easier for people to believe your word if you're wealthy than it is for them to believe your words if you're not. So I wanted to make enough money so that my children would never be tempted to be drug dealers, because in my children's mind, drug dealers are broken.
