This is a short excerpt from a YouTube video by Clegg (uploaded Sept 18, 2023) introducing the concept of "soulset": the practice of turning down the ego to access one's highest, truest self. The speaker frames soulset as inner work that lets individuals connect more deeply with others and enter the "secret universe" inhabited by great creatives.

This is doing the inner work where you turn down the voice of your ego. I mean, at some level, you're afraid to be the most generous person in the room that you're in, or the most in, or the industry that you're in. And so soulset is about turning down your ego, turning all of that down, and accessing your highest self, your truest nature, where you do realize that we are members, we are in a tiny planet, and we are all brothers and sisters, and we are all one. And so soul set work, it's really about getting, entering that secret universe and higher order that the great geniuses populate.
