Welcome back, everybody. My guest is Jon Bon Jovi. Now it gets tough. Sam Bora told me you hated Hit and Run, so we're gonna go right to it. I'm gonna tell you something. You give me the first thing that comes into your mind, all right? All right, here we go. Favorite movie?
Godfather.
Favorite song?
Sounds of Silence. Favorite musical group, other than my own, the Stones.
Favorite food?
Pasta.
Favorite diner food. And in what New Jersey diner?
This gets into a bigger debate. It'd be a pork roll sandwich. Pork roll and cheese. But then you get into, is it ketchup or mustard? In North Jersey, it's mustard. South Jersey, it's ketchup. I mean, I get into fights about this.
A pork roll?
You don't know what a pork roll sandwich is?
No, I don't. I'm from the Bronx. Pizza. That's it.
Poor Michael. Pork roll sandwich.
Big deal.
Taylor Ham. You know what that is? You don't know what that is?
Pork roll.
No, it's.
How about your New Jersey diner? Do you have a special diner?
No, I don't.
Favorite. Fellow New Jersey native.
Southside.
Favorite athlete?
Michael Jordan was somebody I always want. And Jerry Rice. Two guys I always wanted to meet.
Did you ever meet him?
No. Either one.
Can't you just pick up a phone?
You have one. You must know these.
I mean, you're Jon Bon Jovi. You're as famous as Michael Jordan. No. Well, yours?
Rich.
Favorite sport to watch other than football.
Anything at series time.
Okay.
You know, I'll watch anything at championship time. I live football.
Favorite sport to play football. You do any golf, anything like that? No.
God forbid.
Favorite city?
New York City.
Favorite vacation spot?
Some warm island somewhere in the Caribbean.
Okay. Favorite book?
The Monk who Sold His Ferrari.
Who's that by? What's it about?
It's about a lawyer who sold everything to go and find inner peace. It was a very influential book for me.
And did he find it? Nah.
He gave up girls and cars and everything to go find peace. Who needs that? You could buy a piece or whatever you want.
That is a beautiful Christmas story. Oh, my God. Yeah.
It was a very good book, though.
Favorite actor?
Sean Penn.
Favorite actress?
Meryl Streep, I guess, would be on top of my head.
Favorite TV show?
West Wing. Okay.
Favorite time of the year?
Summertime.
Favorite moment in your career.
Too many to name. Too many to name?
Person you would most like to have in a foxhole with you?
Richie. How come him as loyal as they come. Watch my back for 20 years. Like Tico says, you know I love you. I've been staring at your ass for 20 years.
A lot of these ladies out here must love you then, too.
All right, now, I wrote this outro. All right? So you ready for this? It's my life. And I want you to know I'll be there for you. And I won't be a runaway. But I promise you, you will not be shot to the heart or living on a prayer when we come back and let Jon Bon Jovi go out in a blaze of glory. Next. What are you drinking?
