Good morning. I'm here in Muscat, Oman. In today's big presentation we have a sold out event. We're going to have corporate leaders from Muscot and all across Oman, entrepreneurs.
Managers at all levels. And I'm just so excited to be here. It's such a beautiful place. And let me just show you a little bit of what Muscat, Oman looks like from my hotel room.
Here's a view of the property, you can just see the beauty, you can see the sea there.
And there's actually not only desert in Oman, but there's a look at the mountains. The appetite for leadership information has been remarkable. Not many leadership presenters come to Oman and so that along with the strength of our community has provided for just a tremendous, tremendous response that I'm so humbled by. And I'm just getting really excited. I just finished my coffee, just preparing for the day so that my remarks are relevant so I can provide my best ideas and my best abilities to be of service and share some ideas for everyone who's going to attend today on what it means to show leadership without a title, to innovate and play at your best, not only in your work, but in your life. Because I think right now the world really does need leaders and we need to be a candle or a light rather than curse the darkness. I'm going to show you some more pictures of Oman right now from the sun coming up as well as I'll take you with me en route to the event so you get a second of what being out on the road is like with me. I'll leave without a title. Thanks for being with me. So I promised that I would share with you some other views from my hotel room here in Muscat, Oman. And I want you to see what it looks like to see the Omani sun come up over the mountains. It really is spectacular because you've got the mountains and then you've got the sea and you've got the desert and it really just connects me to something much bigger than myself. And I'm feeling very, very inspired here as I get ready to present before my presentation. Because today is a presentation day and I promised to take you along the way in the car to get to the event, but I just wanted you to see how beautiful the sun looks.
So there's another view off of my hotel room. You can see the sea off in the distance.
But this image isn't capturing the beauty. But I'm trying my best to show you what it all looks like. And there you go, there's the sun coming up.
Right over the mountains.
We live in an amazing world and yes, there's a lot of challenges going on in your yes, we know what's happening in the capital markets and yes, there's a lot of confusion and turbulence. But let's not forget to make the time to celebrate these simple pleasures like a sun coming up over the mountains, or laugh of your loved ones, or appreciating the people you work with who give you the best hours of the best days of their life. Or celebrating something as simple as a great cup of coffee like I celebrated this morning, or writing in a journal where you appreciate yourself for the person that you're becoming and the difference that you're making, regardless of your title within an organization, regardless of your station in life. Because really our thoughts do become our reality and what we focus on grows. And one of the hallmarks of high performing leaders of fully functioning human beings is really how we think and what we choose to focus on.
So I hope you've enjoyed this view from my hotel room here in West Cott, Oman with the sun coming up as I prepare for the beginning of today's event. And I'm going to take you again like I promised in the car as we drive to the leadership event today so you get even more of a sense of what it's like to be here with me on this very special day where I can share my ideas with people from various regions across the Middle East. Thanks for being with me. Hi. Well, I'm just leaving my hotel room right now and.
Here'S a nice view of this hotel I'm in and just on my way to the car downstairs.
As I meet my team getting ready for today's leadership seminar here in Muscat, Oman. So very excited. Can't wait to meet the audience. Can't wait to share my leadership ideas and have some fun. Fun is unbelievably important when you're on an intense tour like this, so it's going to be a great day. I'm very excited. So I'm off to the event today and I'm with our driver. Hello. Salaam alaikum. How are you doing today? Okay, well thanks for the drive. And off we go. We go off to our site for the event and as mentioned, I'm going to take you on a little tour through Muscat, Oman as we go to the event site for today's session.
You're seeing some of the beautiful architecture here in Muscat and.
Blends the traditional in many ways, with a lot of the modern elements. This is a fascinating country. The population is pretty small.
And they make their. They basically their GDP comes mostly from petroleum as well as agriculture. Here in Oman, they sell a lot of dates and lime and vegetable and grains. And so the Sultanate of Oman is interesting because they're becoming increasingly modernized and increasingly diverse as a nation. And yet the tradition is very strong, too, which is part of what is so exciting for me, just the culture and the art and meeting the different people and having conversations, because as you know so well, I believe we do become our conversations.
So that's a little taste of what this beautiful city of Muscat, which is the capital of the Sultanate of Fuman, what it looks like. And I wish you a wonderful day today, and I hope you enjoyed being with me in today's video log.
And here's Jason Axmith, our CEO of Sharma Leadership International. And how you doing, Jason? Ready to have a great day. Outstanding. And here we are at the event site. And so there you go. I again hope you enjoy journeying with me today as we do this event here in Muscat, Oman. A beautiful, a beautiful city, beautiful nation. Sultanate, and so much, so much to be blessed for.
