Some of the most valuable lessons I've learned in my life I learned from a mentor of mine named David. One of the lessons I learned is just because you're rich doesn't mean you have to look rich. In fact, your chances of becoming rich are better if you're not so busy trying to look rich. It's one lesson. Lesson number two, you don't have to be afraid of hiring and paying people. You can actually be excited about it. I asked him one time, I said, david, how many employees do you have? He said, I don't know, probably 6, 70. I said, doesn't that make you nervous? He said, nah. You know, Char and I, we've been praying for years that the Lord would give us a business. We could hire good Christian families so they could feed their babies. I'm thinking to myself, who thinks like that? Well, clearly people who are hyper successful think like that. And rich people can be generous. Truly, David and Charlotte are the most generous people I've ever met in my entire life.
