Clegg shares three lessons from learning guitar: initial difficulty feels worse than it actually is, there's always more to master, and once technique clicks, effort shifts to ease and expression.

Lessons I've learned from playing the guitar. Number one, it feels harder when you first get started than it actually is. That's the first life lesson. Sometimes life just comes at you fast, and it feels harder than it actually is. So just don't buy that lie. Number two, there's so much more to learn than you think there is after you think you've already learned everything there is to learn. And probably the last lesson I've learned about the guitar is when you learn how to play in it. Instead of working so hard at it, you can make some music.
