Memory Video 1

Clive Cable introduces a peg system that links numbers 1 to 10 to vivid images, then shows how to attach everyday items like bananas and bread to these pegs by creating exaggerated scenes. He claims the method has never failed anyone since 1987.

Forget about forgetting. The world's quickest, easiest memory system. At least, that's my promise to you. Hello, my name is Clive Cable, and I want to welcome you to part 1 of a 5-part video series. Yes, welcome to the fascinating exploration of the parts of your brain you're not using right now. The more you use your brain, the The more enjoyable your life becomes now and then you'll want to watch all 5 videos in this series. Now, your brain is the only thing you've got going for you. I hate to break it to you, it's not your good looks, charm, or even your great body. You know, I went from having virtually no education leaving school at 15 to become one of the world's best copywriters by using more and more of my brain as the years went on. So, how good do you think your memory is right now? Every other training will ask you to pause the video and see how many things you can recall from some random list. Not this video, because I know you're only watching this so you can improve your memory. That means it's pointless asking you to do something you probably can't do. That's why I'm going to show you how to improve your memory fast. And remember, I made you a promise. This is quick and easy. And have I mentioned the word fun yet? In a moment, not right now, but in a moment, you're going to see some images. At first, these images will seem a little odd. Yet after a short time, you'll find these images easy. In fact, the more you see them, the easier they'll be to remember, especially when you start seeing the results fast. Then you'll soon be impressing your friends and family. My aim is to make this quick and easy, fun and fast, simple yet effective, and each video is short. And as you watch each one, every part of your brain improves. There's a concept called "a rising tide raises all boats," meaning the more you watch, the smarter you become, and the smarter you become, the more you'll enjoy life. Let's get started with your first image. 1. Tea. You see a large cup of tea. The size of your living room. You're inside with one finger pointing up, indicating you've gone under the level of T for the first time. 1 is T. Now remember, the number is always in the image. That's what makes this system unique. There's nothing like it in the world. That's what makes it quick, easy, and fun to remember. 1, T. 2, Noah. You see Noah holding up two fingers. There's that number again. Two fingers, Noah. Man with a long white beard. The Noah's Ark behind him. 2, Noah. 3, May. You see 3 little girls dancing around a giant maypole with the letters M, A, and Y on their dresses respectively. 3, May. So 1, T. 2, Noah. 3, May. Now I bet you didn't expect it to be this easy, did you? So, okay, 4, Ray. So now you see 4 panes of glass in a window, and the ray of light is coming through and making a shadow effect on the floor. 4 is Ray. Now it's important that you remember the actual name I've given each of these images. Like this one, 5 is Law. So you see a policeman holding up 5 digits. 5 is Law. 6 is Jaw. Remembering the Number is in the image, so the 6 makes up his jaw there. 6, jaw. Quick recap then. 4, ray. 5, law. 6, jaw. And now we move on to 7. You see a key in the shape of a 7. 8 is fee. Now, you've probably seen those films where the highwayman robs the stagecoach, and the bags of money with a little tie thing near the top is shaped like the 8. Now, I know that's not a complete 8-figure, but your mind can make up the rest. So 8 is fee. 9 is bay. You see a bay in the shape of a 9, and the 0, or the whole of a 9, there is the island in the bay, and you see a little ship going down towards it. So 7 is key. 8 is fee, 9 is bay, 10 is the easiest one in this section, your own 10 toes. 10 is toes. Okay, so let's go back over them again. 1, tee, 2, Noah, 3, may, 4, ray, 5, law. 6, jaw. 7, key. 8, fee. 9, bay. 10 is your own 10 toes. Okay, you can go through these backwards. 10 is your own 10 toes. 9 is bay. 8 is fee. 7 is key. 6 is jaw. Look for the number in the image. 5 is 'law.' 4 is 'ray.' 3 is 'may.' 2, 'Noah.' And 1, 'tea.' So now, what we're going to do is I'm going to have the word up here, which is what you relate to the image or the memory peg itself, and then you make the image in your mind. Did you get that one? Tea. Okay, 2, Noah. Okay, see the image. Now, what was the number? Was he holding up two fingers? Have you got that? Good. 3, May. So, three little girls dancing around a maypole. 3, May. 4, Ray. Did you get the four panes of glass? If you did, great. If you didn't, it doesn't matter because you'll get it now. 5, law. Now, remember the five? Yes, the five digits. Law. 6, jaw. Now the shape of— what was it in the shape of a jaw? 6, jaw. You've got it. 7, key. Nice easy one. 7, key. Yep, and the next one, fee. A little bit trickier, but remember it makes the shape of an 8, and you can see that shape in your mind, and everyone gets this. Fee, you've got it. 9, bay. Shape of the 9 is bay. Yes. And 10 is your own 10 toes. Great. Now, here are 10 things I want you to remember. This again is easy. Allow me to do the work for you. Okay? You just make the images in your mind. That's all you do as you watch this. And your mind can make images all the time. You know the color of your car. You know the color of your front door. And I'm sure you know the color of your own eyes. So, you'll get this. Okay? Let's go. I want to prove to you how good your memory really is. So, 1. Bananas. So, you see a big bunch of bananas being thrown inside this cup of tea and the tea is splattering out all over the place. In fact, the cup itself is shattering all over the place. 1. Bananas. So you associate that with tea. 1. Bananas. 2. A loaf of bread. So you see a loaf of bread with two little tiny legs zooming up to Noah. Noah's holding up his two fingers and saying, "Nah, it's two only, two only on the ark." Two, loaf of bread. Three, tomatoes. So you see a whole bunch of tomatoes all stacked up in a kind of a pyramid shape. Instead of the maypole, these three little girls are dancing around these tomatoes. Three, tomatoes. Four, red wine. You see a bottle of red wine come crashing through the 4 panes of glass, and it's smashing down on the carpet and the red wine going everywhere. 4, red wine. 5, cucumber. You see Lor holding up 5 fingers and he's balancing precariously on this cucumber, trying to hold himself upright and trying to hold his 5 digits upright. 5, cucumber. 6, oranges. You see a crate of oranges and the jaw is trying to munch its way through all these oranges and they're Oranges are all splattering around all over his face. 6, oranges. 7, coffee. You see a key going into a jar of coffee, and as the key turns, it unlocks the coffee, and the coffee spills out all over the place. 8, butter. So you see the fee, you see butter on a shelf, and you see the fee coming crashing down on the butter. Bang! And it's splatting the butter everywhere. 8, butter. So associate fee with butter as it crashes into the butter. 9, sugar cube. There's all these giant sugar cubes floating down towards this bay, and for some unknown weird reason, none of these sugar cubes are getting wet. 9, sugar cubes. 10, newspaper. So you see your own 10 toes opening up a huge newspaper with your 10 toes, and you're just reading this newspaper at your leisure. 10. Newspaper. Great. Now, now's the time to pause the video, grab a pen, and write down all 10 items. Please do this. Pause the video here and do exactly what I said, and you will astound yourself. Okay. How did you do? Did you do it? Did you get them all? If you did, great! If not, watch the video one more time. Everyone gets it either the first or the second time. I've been teaching this, as I say, since 1987, and I've never had one failure, and you're not going to be either. For any reason you didn't get this, please watch it because you will get it. Okay, that's it for this video. This is the first of 5 videos. If you've enjoyed this one, make sure you either find out how to get the rest, or if it's better for you, go to my website, forgetyourforgetfulness.com. That is forgetyourforgetfulness.com. Either way, you can continue to make your memory even better, and when you get to to video number 5. You will be astounded at what you can do in such a short amount of time. Compared to most people, you will be extraordinary. So, see you in the next video. Until soon, Clive Cable.
