Hey, everybody, my name is Coach Troy. The topic I want to talk to you about today is the six human needs. The six human needs are so powerful, and it's what really started changing my life and really, you know, changed my life, not only personally, financially, my health, my relationships. It really had everything to do with everything. And now I get to apply the six human needs to the strategies and the mindset that I get to learn with Bob Proctor and the thinking and results program that I teach people today. So let's get into it. And so that you can really understand it, I'd ask you to grab a piece of pen and paper and so that I can really, you know, have you take notes of these things because it's something that's going to really be something to keep looking at and really understand. So the first human need is the need for certainty. The need for certainty is really, you know, you want to be certain that you're secure in what you're doing. You want to be certain in the outcome. And you have, you know, that need to really just, you know, be on path with what you believe is true. And, you know, what I mean by that is people will, you know, they'll eat at a certain place of food that might not make them feel good, but, but they know the taste, right? You'll watch a movie over and over and over, knowing how it's going to make you laugh, how it's going to make you feel, or you love the way that your spouse, you know, laughed at that certain joke that you were on that video. Maybe you take the same road to work because you just know exactly what's happening and you know where the construction is, you know, where the bumps are, you know, or you, you open the door with your left hand versus your right hand just because that's what happens. But it's literally that need for certainty that really people have as a human need. So let's go on to number two. It's the need for uncertainty. People love variety. They want to change things up. Not always sure how or why. They also don't know if the uncertainty, you know, the uncertainty, they want it to be as positive, but they also want to make sure that it's safe. But they're always curious and they're always looking for something else. And so there is always that need for it, whether that be, you know, something to purchase or maybe, you know, a new relationship or, you know, definitely do trying to do different things. And, and, and that's what's Going to make you feel, you know, vibrant and keep that curiosity alive. Number three is a big one for me, for a lot of people, and it's the need to feel significant. People want to feel significant because when you do something, you want to do it because it matters. You want to be able to, to, to be noticed by other people or have impact on them. You want to feel good and feel like, you know, you're doing something that stands out and sets yourself apart from maybe what the average was. And you know, and that might be why, you know, you help somebody out with certain things or, you know, you say things, you do things, you support people in certain ways. You want to feel significant. One of the big ones that I would say is, is feeling significant to your own self. If you feel like you're doing something really great, you know, take, take pleasure in making sure you acknowledge that. Number four is the need for relationships or, you know, love and connection. And as Tony Robbins would say, and you know, I think that having that love and connection or those relationships personally, interpersonally, but also personally with the people around you, and also even on a professional level, you love having relationships that you can cultivate that are going to help you get to your goals. And I think it's really important, impactful that you're able to do that.
Number five is the need for growth. Simply put, if you're not growing, you're dying, and everything in between is sadly really boring. And so, you know, you're always looking for ways to grow, whether it be your health, your wealth, your relationships. Those are the three big ones. Maybe you want to grow in your spiritual life and you want to grow in areas of rest and relaxation or different little sub niches, but really you are always trying to grow. Number six is an interesting one. It's a need for contribution. A lot of people don't know how to figure this out. They don't know how to contribute to other people, let alone them own selves. But what's interesting is when you contribute to someone else, achieving their goals and their needs before your own, you're contributing at the highest level. And I think it's really important that your self image is there and that you're looking after your own self first, whether for your health and all those things. But when you're there and you can feel confident in who you are and you're able to then show up and contribute to them meeting their human needs, you're going to have a really powerful life. And so truthfully, you know, when I went from Sale, you know, in my income, you know, from.
From one level to the next. You know, I used to make, you know, $40,000 and thought it was amazing. But when you, when you, 20, 30 times, you know those levels, it's because you, you're understanding how to fulfill your own human needs, but you're also able to help each other and the people around you fulfill their human needs. And, you know, I learned this, this, this strategy from Tony Robbins and I, you know, I've learned it from, you know, so many other pieces of how to fulfill it through Jim Rohn and, and Napoleon Hill and all. You know, there's so many different people that have really figured this out. And I think that when you really, truly understand it, you can have a lot of impact on your life and towards the goals that you're trying to achieve. So if you were out to write down the certainty, uncertainty, significance, love and connection, growth and contribution, if you were to write those out, start taking note of what it is that you feel that you do to achieve those needs and what are the things that you could stop doing that are preventing those from being met, but then really capturing what it is that you can do to start to keep going. And then also taking a look at your spouse or taking a look at people at work and really understanding. Maybe they don't work or perform at the level that you want, but maybe you can help them feel more certain in what it is that they're doing is actually getting them towards their goal. When you understand what those people around their goals are, you can help them understand the beliefs and habits that are getting them there. Help them come up with new ways of doing it, make sure they feel significant every day for being the person that they are. It's not just your model of the world, it's putting yourself in their shoes and understanding their model of the world and help them feel significant. Compliment everybody all the time for trying hard and doing good. They might just need that little bit of confidence. So, you know, because if you think about what I just said, you know, right there, you've helped them be certain that what they're doing is, it is getting them to their goal. They love the variety because now you're showing up and giving them some compliments and some satisfaction, you're making them feel significant. That's in turn helping out their relationship with you, feeling their own love and connection with you, but it also helps them with themselves. And now they also feel like they're growing because now you can take where you see them at and Explain, you know, what if you did this? What if you grew to this level? Then help share them, Say, hey, you know, what if you achieve all of this, you could contribute to other people and teach them the exact same type of process. And I think that's really important and powerful for people. And when you can really relate to people like that, you're going to have a level of frequency and vibration that's going to attract way more people to you that are really there to help, you know, grow and nurture each other and support each other, rather than, you know, holding each other back and being afraid that someone's going to win more than them and be at a place of, you know, scarcity and frustration. So really have gratitude with what you're doing right today. And if you, you know, if. Because if you're not, if you're missing two or more of these human needs, by the way, you have, you know, some massive imbalance. I hate to tell you that I've been there, so I know what it's like. And when I learned these strategies, I had to look in the mirror and really say, you know, what?
What could I be doing? You know, what are the things that were blocking me? And I started to make a list of each and every one of my human needs and those things. And I literally. Out in the parking lot, out at Tony Robbins event, actually was where it was first time I ever did it. I literally burnt the piece of paper right there in the parking lot in a ritual so that I could stopped believing and acting in the way I was. That was definitely preventing me from hitting my human needs. And so as I've taught this to hundreds and hundreds of people around me, probably even thousands now, I guess, you know, I'm able to really have a deeper connection with them because they're able to have a deeper connection with themselves. And it's having a lot of impact. It's being able to take them from a place of, you know, a real dark place to a bright place. And understanding it's really that simple is to being able to understand those needs. So I really hope that this, you know, served you well. And. And, you know, when we apply this into the program, into the thinking and the results, because I'm a proctor Gallagher consultant, when we can understand these things and really help apply that to what our goals are and being able to really, you know, understand do our goals and our wants really fulfill our human needs, that really helps us be able to feel fulfilled. And that's what's gonna have the most amount of impact on you and everything you do each and every single day. So I really hope that that helps you. I look forward to serving you and thank you again.
