A soccer player learns how to contact college coaches: start with a highlight video sent to Division III schools first, then II, then I. Use email templates asking if they need a center-back, mention ID camps to get responses, and follow up within 7-10 days. Application deadlines are usually January.

Step 1, self-interview. Video is done, we're gonna press send. When we press send, we're gonna send this first to the D3 schools, then to the D2 schools, then if we have time, we'll send it to D1 schools. Click on business, this will take about 15 days, and then we'll have a very good idea of where we're at in the process. We will do an audit. You're already talking to Rollins. So like Rollins, what we need you to do with them is I need full game footage, and we need to send it to Rollins and every other school. So template 1 is, for schools you're applying to, you're gonna say this. For schools you have been in contact with, We need to send full games. So for them, you say, "Dear coach, I have attached an every touch video versus blah, blah, blah below. May I ask if you are still looking for a center back for the class of blah, blah, blah?" And you're gonna ask directly, just like that, okay? It's very important. In your mass emails that you're about to send to these schools, sometimes we say you're gonna send a version of the same thing. Are you looking for, this could be dear, genuine ask, and the ask is, "Are you looking for a blah, blah, blah for the class of blah, blah, blah?" of dot dot dot, if so, I'm happy to attend your ID camp. And you have to say that 'cause it'll make them read the email. We don't have to go to the camp, but we just want them to respond. Mass email, boom. Okay, so then hopefully by, we'll call it 7 to 10 days from now, we have pressed send. The only thing that's really important is any schools you have or want to apply to, go to their camp. Because even if it's not genuine, I mean, we'll still email them beforehand, we will still email them before. And find out if they need a center back. So then you can decide to go or not go. But let's say you get into the school. Now that you've been to their camp, you could say to them, I've been to your camp, we know each other, can I please come to your, can I walk on? Maybe they'll let you walk on in the spring and then you get to go to your dream school and you got in and that's perfect world. But we are gonna, of course, email the D2s and D3s. The other thing we have to just be mindful of, there are application deadlines, which happen in January for all schools. Usually for athletes, they'll let you roll over so you don't have to worry too much. But just if there's any other schools you wanna apply to, this has nothing to do with soccer, I'm just telling you this, you make sure you apply them. Okay, my team and I will help you with all this.
