If you're trying to break free from relapse, here's an important point to remember is that a lot of times relapses come in batches. And what I mean is, if you've gone a period of time without using and you relapse once, it opens the floodgates. It breaks the seal. It activates it in your vibration. It's going to be easier to relapse 1 to 2 to 3 more times. This is all one batched experience. If you continue to allow the subsequent relapses to make you start your days over, to increase your shame, to make you think you're more of a failure, then you are going to miss out on the learning this batch of experience is here to show you. When you veer off course like that, it takes a minute to get to course correct. You're hitting the guardrails. You're hitting those bumps on the side of the road, right? And you can't just swerve back over and get right back where you were. Sometimes you have to relapse a couple more times. The trick is to be mindful while you're in the relapse, what am I here to learn, and move forward.
