Someone introduced you to meth. You're angry. That anger is poison you're drinking, not them. Forgiveness isn't about letting them off. It's about freeing yourself so you can actually heal and move forward.

You're holding on to the anger and resentment toward that guy or that couple that introduced you to crystal meth. Your brain is lost in the what could have happened, what should have happened, and where would I be now if that hadn't have happened. You're wasting your energy and you're depleting yourself from healing. Holding on to that resentment is like they say, drinking poison and wanting the other person to die. You are only poisoning yourself by By holding on to that anger, you are allowing them to win again. You are allowing them to hold you back from full peace, contentment, and healing in your recovery. Forgiveness is not about making what they did right or letting them off the hook. It's about putting yourself first. It's about loving yourself enough to choose your healing and your trajectory forward first. Letting go of that anger could be the last hurdle between you and full recovery.
