In this guided meditation, Dallas Bragg leads listeners through a multi‑stage practice designed to support recovery and foster confidence in an uncertain future. He begins by inviting participants to find a comfortable seated or lying position, turn off distractions, and engage in deep breathing while visualizing a calming snow globe inside the body. A brief body‑scan follows, prompting awareness of tension and relaxation. Bragg then introduces the Cancer Wolf Moon of January 2025, using a vivid winter‑forest night scene to symbolize the past, identity narratives, and lingering "why" and "should" questions that often trap people in recovery. Listeners are guided to imagine these questions as black smoke released into the moon’s light, transmuting into a sense of certainty that everything unfolds for a reason. The meditation emphasizes surrendering expectations, letting go of control, and trusting a divine plan. Participants are then asked to mentally step forward into pitch‑black darkness, confronting imagined obstacles while maintaining trust beyond logic, reinforcing the mantra that each step, regardless of outcome, is part of a learning journey. The session concludes with gratitude to the moon, creator, and self, and offers practical next steps—journaling, walking, or breaking a habitual pattern—to integrate the experience. Throughout, the tone is soothing yet assertive, encouraging listeners to release past narratives, embrace certainty, and commit to continual forward movement in recovery.

All right, let's get comfortable. Find a seated position, or you can lie down. I actually prefer lying down and propping my upper body up on a pillow so that I don't fall asleep. That might be you too, but find the most comfortable position you can find, whatever that may be. Turn the phone off in terms of notifications. Make sure that you won't be interrupted by pets, children, or anything else that's happening in your environment. And just take a really deep breath. Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth. And allow your body to relax. If you can imagine inside your body a snow globe, and you've just set it down, and all the snow is floating, floating slowly down to the bottom, imagine that's happening inside your energetic body. All the thoughts of what's next, what happened, all the worries, the static, the chaos, it just settles down to the bottom and rests for a moment. Let's do a quick body scan. Where do you feel tension? Where do you need to make adjustments? Are your legs comfortable, or are you clenching them? Are your shoulders relaxed and your neck? Is your jaw relaxed? You may need to gape your mouth open a little to make sure you're not clenching your jaw. You want to be as relaxed as possible. When you get there, Just take a moment in silence. This might be the only moment of silence you have all day. Enjoy it. Today we're embracing the Cancer Wolf Moon of January 2025. This moon brings lots of nostalgic emotions. This moon controls the purse strings, the umbilical cord, the past, all the narratives that have been woven together for you to tell you who you are, all the pasts circumstances and people and places that contribute to the identity you've accepted as I am. Emotions will run high, such as, why am I still in this place? Or why haven't I been able to do this or do that? When is my reward? When do I get what they have? Why did Mommy neglect me? Why did Daddy do this? Why, why, why? And we're going to let all of that fall down to the ground like snow. This is a winter moon, and we're standing in the snow in the dark woods at night. The snow is gently falling, and you hear it hitting the branches of the trees, piling up on the ground. Still, and it's quiet. Just like the snow falls to the ground all around you, so does all of those questions and all of those emotions and all of those past worries that we like to bring to our present. As we step forward, the woods get darker. It's actually pitch black now. I want you to look up to the sky. There are no stars in this winter sky. It's just blackness. I want you to call on the Cancer Wolf Moon. Moon, can you show yourself? And as you do, you see the full moon arise in the sky, and the light of the full moon illuminates only you. You're in the spotlight. It's just you and the light of the moon. And as you're standing there, you're called. You're called to surrender, to surrender your expectations of who. you should be, where you should be, what you should be, and any other should. Because every time we use the word should, we are questioning the divine curriculum that operates our lives. There's nothing else that you should ever be Than whatever it is you are right now. There's no one else, nowhere else you should ever be than wherever it is you are right now. There's nothing better to be doing. There's no one better to be. It's just you resting in the fullness of this moment. This moment right now. There is no past. There is no future. There's just So now I want us to give away and surrender all the thoughts of what's next. Why doesn't my journey look like I think it should? Why don't I do the things I think I should be doing? Why are the people around me not behaving the way I think they should? Why does my recovery not look like theirs? Why am I still? Why am I still using? Why am I still doing the same things I've been doing for years? All the questions of why, why, why? The moon wants them. The moon wants them. So I want you to imagine. All that longing, all those questions, and all the second-guessing, all the anxiety and the worry, despair, all that shit you fill your day with. I want you to imagine in the light of the moon, it begins to leave your body like a black smoke. Where do you feel it activated in your body? Is it your head, your chest, your heart, stomach, your loins, your feet? Is it your entire body? Feel it as you release and think about why. Why do I keep doing this? Why am I in this place? Why isn't this this way? Why isn't that that way? Why am I here? Why did I have to hire a coach? All that why, just let it go out of your body. And as that smoke arises, you watch it in the light of the moon go up like a portal, higher and higher. You watch it go floating. The moon wants it. The moon needs that energy to transmute it. Into something higher, something more beautiful, something more like certainty. Certainty that everything is the way it is for a reason, and if it could have happened any other way, it would have. Certainty that there's a plan for me. And I'm not gonna question it, 'cause I know every time I say why, or every time I get in my feelings, every time I fill my day with negativity, I delay and delay and I question. I'm playing God with my life, 'cause I think I know better. I And I'm basing my opinion on what mainstream society has told me it should be. Let all that go. Watch it vaporize into the light of the moon. Feel that shift. Oh, what a relief. What a relief to stop trying to control my narrative, to control my path. What a relief just to stop and let go of the unmet expectations, the disappointment of when things don't go the way I think they should, and when my recovery journey doesn't look like everybody else's. What would it be like if you could just surrender? And trust and be certain that the desires of your heart are right there. They're right there beyond that darkness in front of you. They're right there waiting for you to get your shit together in terms of looking back so much. And lamenting on the present so much. Your heart's desire is waiting for you to step forward in trust, faith, and certainty. And now that we've let go all the whys and the shoulds, the light of the moon fades and fades, and now We're in pitch blackness again. And here's what I want you to do in your mind's eye. I want you to take a step forward. You're taking a step forward not knowing what's in front of you. What if it's an abyss? What if there's a jaguar in front of me? What if there's a log and I trip? What if there's a tree right there and I smack my head into it? What if there's a river? What if, what if, what if, what if all these things? But what if you trusted beyond logic, beyond what you see, hear, feel, taste, and touch? What if you just trusted? What if you just took a step and another step and another step? You don't have to see what's next. You don't have to know what the map looks like. There's nothing— there's nothing to do but step. There's nothing to do but do the work every day. Be your best self. Strive, strive to be your best and highest self. Ask. Is what I'm doing right now a part of who I am becoming, or is who I am right now a definition of the past? Is it what I've always been doing? Because if I keep doing what I've always been doing, I'm going to get what I've always got. I have no choice right now. But two-step, in-step, in-step, trusting, trusting, and having certainty that my path is ordained and divine, and everything in it, whether it be a pothole, a tree in my way, if I trip, if I relapse, if I use. Every single part of my journey is there to teach me, help me grow, help me learn, and help me heal if I perceive it that way. If I respond to it with certainty, I am certain that whatever happens after I take this step forward. It's for me, and I'm going to respond to it in that way. Step after step after step, I walk. I do my part, and I trust. Thank you, Moon. Thank you, Creator. Thank you, me. Me, I'm doing this. I'm here right now in this moment listening to this meditation because I want to be my best and highest, and I'm gonna fucking do it. I'm gonna keep stepping, and no matter what happens I know it's for me. It's not happening to me. That is true freedom. Keep stepping. When you're ready, you can come out of this meditation. You can come back into your body. And into the room. Maybe you journal next. Maybe you take an actual walk. Whatever it is you do, do something you've never done before. Do something different. Begin this journey by interrupting a pattern. Happy full moon. I love you.
