Homeless to Hero: My Sobriety Story

In this personal testimony, Dallas Bragg recounts his transformation from a chronic crystal‑meth addict and repeat felon to a sober individual and coach. Five years ago he was released from jail for the fourth time on felony drug‑possession charges, living homeless in a dilapidated hotel, relying on his children for support, and taking the bus because he had no car. While enrolled full‑time in the Becklenburg County Drug Treatment Court and attending rehab, he worked two jobs and celebrated each week by passing all five required drug tests. Over time he accumulated sober time, rebuilt his relationship with his children, and forged a new relationship with himself. Today he works as a sober coach, offering guidance to others seeking the same recovery path.
