A man attempts suicide in prison but is stopped by an officer. Afterward, a cup of tea with six sugars gives him a sudden minute of clarity. He decides to turn his circumstances around and commit to real change.
I attempted to hang myself, but thank God in that moment that I didn't, I didn't know how to tie a noose and I was found by a prison officer that got me back to my cell. And in that moment, I'll never forget this, Dallas, cuz this was my first moment of clarity or first moment of awareness of how you wanna describe it. But I made myself a massive cup of tea and I must have put about 6 sugars in that cup of tea when I made it. And I don't know if it was a sugar hit. I don't know if, but something happened when I drank that tea. And for maybe, I don't know, maybe 30 seconds to a minute, I got an overwhelming sense of positivity. Hmm. And I was like, so from this moment on, I'm making a promise to myself that I'm gonna do everything I can. Within this moment to turn this horrendous situation into a positive situation.
