In this excerpt from Dallas Bragg's YouTube video, Bragg shares that during his active addiction, people in the recovery community who publicly opposed him would secretly message him, exposing a pattern of hypocrisy. Speaker B expands on this theme by noting similar covert behavior among anti‑gay legislators and recounts a personal story from Miami Pride: a sober friend used Grindr to view a man's profile, noticing he was partying and potentially involved in meth use. The dialogue highlights hidden communications, the risk of encountering meth in LGBTQ+ social settings, and the need for vigilance among those in recovery.

I know that when I was in active addiction, the guys in the community who were most adamantly against me would also message me in secret.
Yep. Yep. That's kind of, that's kind of across the board with everybody. It's like the, the anti-gay, you know, legislators are actually, you know, on. Yeah. You know, I remember, um, I went to Miami Pride last year with my, one of my sober guys and my Buddies who is just kind of coming up on a year or so of it, and we were he was on Grindr, and he was like, "Oh, this guy is like we could hop about about." And I was like, "Let me see, let me see, let me see." So he turned his phone around, and I looked. I like just through his pictures, and I was like, "He's partying." You you may be walking into a methy situation. And he was like, "Yeah."
