In this solo YouTube address, chemsex recovery coach Dallas Bragg explains that one of the most common relapse triggers is "reentry" – the period when a person returns home from a holiday or business trip. He describes how the loss of novelty and the mental rationalizations that arise on the flight home can lead men to contact dealers and use meth, often destroying recovery progress. Bragg outlines practical, low‑shame strategies to protect against this trigger: openly acknowledging the risk to friends and family, arranging for airport pick‑up, having someone accompany you home, and staying with a supportive person the first night back. He invites viewers to share their own tips in the comments and promotes a forthcoming group coaching program for those who want structured reentry planning, asking interested viewers to comment the word "group" for more information.

Here's one of the top chemsex relapse triggers and how to get around it. Hello, my name is Dallas. I'm a chemsex recovery coach. One of the big triggers I see in my practice is reentry, which is when you're coming back home from a holiday or a business trip. Many men will find themselves making the deal in the plane before it lands, contacting the dealer, getting an Uber that takes them to the user's house, Instead of going home. It is so common and will destroy your recovery journey. There are many, many reasons for this. And one, though, is that you've had the novelty drip of being on holiday, of seeing new sights, of experiencing new things. Or you've been on a business trip and it's still the same thing. It's a novelty, novelty, novelty. And then when you get on that plane, you begin the descent of no more novelty because you know you're going back into your life. There's this little sentiment in the back of your mind sometimes that says, I could fit a use in before I go back to the grind, or any of the other, any of the other lies that you tell yourself. But you can return home from holiday or business trip, and you can not use. There are ways to do this. Number one is that you have to be honest about it. You have to tell the people in your life. That this is a big trigger for me. On vacation, you're going to feel so strong. You're going to feel like there's no possible way that I would ever use meth when I get back home. And that will flip like a switch when you get on that plane or when the plane lands. But if you can bring it out into awareness, if you can put everyone on guard to say, like, look, I need help. I need people checking in with me. I need somebody to pick me up from the airport. I need somebody to accompany me home. I need somebody to stay with me the first night. It's okay. There's no shame in that. You have to protect yourself against what the brain wants to do. This doesn't have to be the rest of your life, but it is early chemsex recovery. How do you stay meth-free when you go on vacation? Tell me in the comments. Also, if you'd like some help with this, and we will accompany you and make a plan for reentry in my program, we have a new group coaching starting soon. Just comment the word group below, and we'll send you the information.
