Dallas Bragg argues that meth addiction recovery fails when people set binary pass-fail goals, which trigger shame cycles. Instead, track usage over months (like uses in the past six months) to see gradual progress. Treating recovery as continuous rather than all-or-nothing makes sustained sobriety possible.

Here is why you cannot stop relapsing. You created a binary goal for yourself, pass or fail, relapse or not, and that is tripping you up and keeping you in the shame cycle. By the way, I talk more about this in my free masterclass. If you're interested, comment masterclass or DM masterclass, and I'll send you the link to enroll. Spots are filling up. The goal is to be the best and highest version of yourself. The tactic is being meth-free. The metrics is how many times you've used over a period of time, not just basing it on the last time. So for instance, if you've used twice in the last 6 months, that's 2 times. 2 times in 6 months you've stayed abstinent. That's a metrics. Then you take that metrics and you move forward to the next 6 months. It is a process and a journey. And as soon as you change your mindset, you'll be set free.
