Consider that relapse could be the answer the universe is giving you to your desire to be sober. Hear me out. If I desire to be sober, the universe is going to put things in place for me to get there, whatever that takes. Whatever healing or realization, epiphany, whatever it takes, the universe is going to put me through it. get me there. Sometimes that requires a relapse experience. In that relapse experience, I can learn, I can grow, I can see, I can appreciate. There are so many nuggets in that experience that can help me get to where I need to be, which is sobriety. But if we treat ourselves badly and we cover that relapse experience with guilt and shame, we're missing out on what we're asking the universe for, which is recovery.
