Dallas Bragg, a chemsex recovery coach, describes hitting rock bottom through homelessness and facing prison time over crystal meth use. He argues that high-functioning users lack incentive to quit until consequences match their deepest fears: a video reaching their boss, family finding out, losing custody of kids. He urges confronting those fears now, before they become real.

What will be your rock bottom? Because until the consequences outweigh the benefits of using meth, you aren't going to stop. Hi, my name is Dallas. I'm a Chemsex recovery coach for gay and bi men who want to break free from the addictive patterns of crystal meth and live their best and highest life. My rock bottom was homelessness and the threat of a prison sentence. But for some of you high-functioning Tina users, your rock bottom will be tailored to your own personal hell. What is your greatest fear? A Tina video being sent to your boss? Your family finding out? Public arrest? Your partner leaving you for good? Your children being taken away from you? Look, for those of you who are maintaining and even doing well at your career, keeping strong relationships alive, doing well financially, and having great experiences with Tina, you don't have a strong enough incentive to stop. Homeless and prison for me made quitting an easy choice. You actually, in many ways, have the more difficult route. You also stand to lose so much more. Your rock bottom will be formulated specifically for you and will come about in ways you've never expected. What is your greatest fear? Make the decision to stop before that is made true for you.
