Hello, I'm Dallas. I'm a chemsex recovery coach, and I have interviewed many men over the years on my podcast and informally about their sexual journey post-chemsex. And I have narrowed down the top 8 characteristics that I have found that are most common in men who identify as having successfully sexually reintegrated after meth or after chemsex. Number 1, they detoxed from hookup sites and apps. That length of time varies, usually 1 to 2 years. Number 2, they detox from pornography. Again, length of time varies based on your own cravings and triggers and how pornography affects you and your brain. Number 3, they found safe fuck buddies who were aware of their situation and gave them a type of environment that felt safe, no pressure, and gave them a chance to experiment. Number 4, they kept Trying. They kept going back despite negative experiences, despite experiences that they felt were boring or bad. Number 5, they held a detailed vision of who they are and what they wanted out of their sober sex life so that they knew exactly what they were looking for and how they wanted to feel. Number 6, they practiced embodied techniques like breathwork or yoga to get back into the body. Number 7, they masturbated using their imagination, and they've used sober scenarios That include kink and fetish. Number 8, they were very, very patient. I hope this helps you in your sexual reintegration journey. If there's something I've missed here that has helped you, please tell me in the comments. If you'd like to join my next group, you can.
