Guys, if you don't want to relapse over Christmas break, you better have a plan in place. Be honest, are you already planning the party in the back of your mind? And I'm talking a foolproof plan. A plan that leaves you nowhere of wiggle room. Nowhere where you have to make a choice. All the choices should be made for you. Block the apps and give someone else your password. Tell your family and friends you're in danger. Have accountability partners checking in with you all the time. Have your location shared. Make sure you stay with somebody. I will tell you, many a gay men have been saved by a nosy straight girlfriend. Put so many plans in place and commit to them and tell the people you're committed to that if you don't show up, that there's a problem. Put so many in place that you have no space for yourself. This seems extreme, but if you're in early recovery, it's what's required if you don't want Tina to sneak in the back door.
