When you're in the last stages of a crystal meth relapse cycle, you are high functioning. Maybe you're holding down a job, but you're relapsing maybe every other week, every other 3 weeks, and it happens on the weekends. Well, I want to introduce to you a tool that I use in my program. When a highly triggering weekend's coming up, I will work with my clients for a sober weekend game plan. We're going to look at your environment. What can we do with your phone? What can we do with your physical settings to put safeguards in place? Social— what, how can we involve your network? Intellectual, creative— what can you be doing that stretches the mind or uses your creativity? What kind of physical activities can you plan, and how full can you make your schedule with plans that you can't get out of? And then at the bottom, we're going to work together to fill this out to plan out your weekend.
