Hey, if you can't stop relapsing, I've made a little chart to help you shift your perspective. Shifting your perspective about relapse is the first step to quitting. All right, so let's take a look at this. The circumstance. Circumstances in life are neutral. They don't have meaning. We add meaning to them, which then equals the narrative we adopt about the circumstance and about ourselves. So with relapse, we can add a meaning of failure, starting over, not trying hard enough. That's going to lead to, I am disempowered, is the Which leads to, I'm a failure. I am a chronic relapser. When you adopt this narrative, you're going to relapse because you think that's your identity. When we add the meaning of, this is a learning opportunity, relapse is a part of the process, relapse is a milestone for my journey, then the narrative is, I'm empowered, which leads to, I am learning from this. Feeling empowered is the key to taking control of your life and using relapse as a leverage for success.
