The Secret to Manifesting : My 100 day Think and Grow Rich challenge.

In this solo vlog, Dr. Dallas Bragg introduces his 100‑day manifestation experiment, which combined daily reading of Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich with a video diary. He first defines manifestation as the mental creation of a desired reality, likening it to answered prayer and the biblical “name it and claim it” principle. Bragg explains why a 100‑day period works better for him than shorter habits, and outlines his goal to attract a specific sum of money by a set date. Throughout the challenge he encounters shadow aspects of himself—unresolved trauma, unhelpful patterns, and emotional triggers—that surface through meditation, interpersonal conflicts, and unexpected life events. He realizes that before he can receive the desired wealth, he must first transform internally, becoming a disciplined, organized entrepreneur. Bragg emphasizes the importance of small victories (finding a $50 bill, securing a new client, planning his day hour‑by‑hour) and how celebrating these builds momentum and faith. He argues that visualization alone is insufficient; consistent, inspired action and daily persistence are the missing elements most teachings overlook. By day 98 he manifests an executive office chair and desk, a tangible symbol of his progress, and reflects on the emotional impact of this achievement. Concluding, he urges viewers to adopt a 100‑day practice of reading, journaling, or visualization, stressing that internal change precedes external results. He also promotes his newsletter, social media channels, and intuitive life‑coaching services.

So if you're interested, connect with me everywhere and drop me a line. Drop a comment here if you want me to connect with you. I'd love to look to see what you're doing with your social media. Okay, so to get right into it, Today's topic is manifesting, which is a big topic. I know that everywhere you look right now, well, for me anyway, people are talking about how to manifest. And so in order to get started, I just want to define what manifest means in terms of what I think it means, which is coming up with the image of someone or something that you don't have, that you want, And then you end up with it in your reality. So you have created something that wasn't there through your thought process, through your imagination, which I do believe in. I mean, I think imagination is our clairvoyance, and so we can use it to get, uh, what we want, and we can create our own reality. I do believe that. But this video today is to tell you about my experience in trying to manifest a certain amount of money by a certain time. Also, I wanted to say another, another definition of manifesting, if manifesting is a kind of a trigger, emotional trigger for you, is answered prayer. I mean, what are you doing when you ask God for something, you pray about it, and you get it? You're manifesting. Something into your life. Now, a lot of people don't say, I want a new car. Maybe they do. I know that when I was growing up, a big catchphrase in a Pentecostal church was name it and claim it, right? Because in the Bible, I can't quote the verse and the book and the chapter and all that, but it does say call things as they are that are not. So basically, as you're saying, I have this new laptop and I'm going to feel into what it's like to type on and use this new laptop. I'm gonna feel the emotion of having this laptop. I'm gonna act like I have this laptop, and it comes. It's biblical. Okay, so I've been taking these 100-day challenges, and for me, it takes 100 days to put something new into my routine. 21 days just don't get it for me. 21 days, I have found, I am just now beginning to say to myself, oh, there's something new going on here. I'm just now getting my stride and being able to do something consecutively. It takes me 21 days probably to do something twice in a row almost. So 100 days is a good number for me. And so what I decided to do this last 100 days was read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill because I had started a business, as you know, coaching business in January, and I wanted to manifest a certain amount of money by a certain day. And the coaching program that I was in kind of created this belief in me because in the advertisement it said, you don't have this much money by this date, you know, well, I don't want to give your money back or let you do this or that, which is all a, a scheme to get you to get in. I decided that I would read Think and Grow Rich and I would think and grow rich. But what I learned about manifesting was not what I expected. Books like Think and Grow Rich can spark a magical excitement. You may feel you've discovered the secret loophole to getting what you want. Why does it seem like some people can create their reality while you remain stagnant? Here is what I discovered. So. Reading Think and Grow Rich the first time around, I did really believe that all I had to do was genuinely believe that I could get a certain amount of money by a certain date. There's a lot of instructions in there about persistence, consistency, a definite chief aim. There is a specific— there's specific instructions on what to write. To read it every morning and every evening and truly believing it, because thoughts are energy. And when we wrap that energy and emotion, it does seem to crystallize into reality through universal law. That I believe and buy into. What's missing is what I'm going to talk about today, the missing element. And for me, what I did not expect to happen. Several top influencers cited Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill as the key to their success, so I decided to read it through as many times as possible in 100 days. And I expected to receive a specific amount of money by a certain date. Instead, I was shown the harsh reality of who I really was and who I needed to be before I would be able to achieve my monetary wishes. Here are the 4 things I learned about manifesting, which I'll go over in just a minute. But what happened was that in the process of sitting down every day reading a portion of the book, and then I also made a video diary, a vlog per se, every day. Well, it took me a while, like I said, to start doing it every day. It takes me like 25 days to get into a routine, to get into— get some momentum on these things. So along about 30 days, 40 days, I started to notice something happening, and that was parts of me, shadow aspects of myself, started to show up. Parts of me that I didn't know were there. And this happened in many various ways. Um, I started to lose people. I started to hurt people. Things were taken from me. Things were shown to me through meditation that were way off, uh, way off what I was expecting. Uh, I guess way off guard is what I'm trying to say. I was taken off guard, um, in the conversations with other people and then just in straight downloads. There were— the universe, God was showing me that I wasn't ready for that amount of money. I wasn't ready to manage it. I am not the person yet who could receive that amount of money. And I was not, for one thing, being the type of business person, structured and disciplined, you know, that would receive that amount of money. Money. There was one day where I went to the gym and was looking— I did especially well and was feeling really good about myself, looking really good. And I started taking selfies, and then I started taking a walk, and I was feeling— then I started listening to some music. And by the time it was time to work, the day was almost over. And I was like, oh, You know, I looked at the clock and I looked at my list of things to do and I was like, this is not the life of an entrepreneur. This is not— I am not being someone who deserves this amount of money from this amount of clients. Expect the unexpected. Receiving something new requires life changes. Shining light on old patterns uncovers your shadow aspects. For example, I didn't think being triggered by a coworker related to manifesting money, but it did. So I, I, I didn't expect all or more of what was underneath me trauma-wise to start showing up. I didn't know and didn't relate to the fact that things that I was triggered by in my everyday life were prohibiting me and inhibiting me from reaching my dreams. I wouldn't have known if I didn't embark on this exercise, because I started to see firsthand, and taking a really strong look at the way that I was living, operating, and thinking, that I had some changes to make. And how can we ever get anything new in our life if we don't become a new person, a person that vibrates and resonates with that new change. Because if we stay the same, we're going to have the same results. What I'm trying to say is that whatever's going on internally is going to show up externally in our life. And so if we don't change something internally, we're not going to get something different externally. It's that simple. Accept small victories. All-or-nothing approaches are not aligned with manifesting. Small wins create momentum and builds faith. I found a $50 bill on the ground early on in the process and celebrated it as a sign that I was on the right track. Escalate small victories, using that energy to propel your efforts. I fell victim to this all-or-nothing approach in terms of when I was about 60, 70 days in, I was like, this is not happening here. Like, I'm 30 days away from receiving my money and it's not— there's no signs that it's ever going to come. Now, yes, there's been miracles. Yes, there's been money come from nowhere. Yes, the universe likes to be surprising and spontaneous. It's in Serendipitous and all that kind of stuff, but I could feel in my gut that something wasn't right, something wasn't happening. But what I started to do, like I just said, was celebrate tiny victories. A new client, finding that $50 bill, um, a, a new resolution to structure my days. One, you know, any night that I would sit down and plan out the next day hour by hour on my calendar, that was a victory. I'm moving toward something. Now maybe it's not at the pace that someone like Alex Hormozi moves at, or some of these other people on YouTube, and they're billionaires. Maybe it's not at that pace, and maybe I'm just not in that timeline, but It feels so good for me to just move forward toward something. It's so much better than being stagnant, which is what I have been for years. Persistence is key. Motivation isn't an emotion, it's an action. Push forward day after day despite tangible results. Consistent daily action on your part is required to manifest. You have to put in the work. That's the missing element I think that we don't hear enough of, is that you have to put in the work. You do visualize and imagine and feel the emotion and all of that stuff, but then you just don't sit back and put your legs up and your feet up and wait for it to fall in your lap. You gotta do the work. You gotta take the inspired action. You have to day in and day out work consistent daily action, consistently get better, consistently improve, consistently look for ways to heal and to, uh, become more aware of when and why you're triggered. That's the part that's been cleansing and refreshing and recalibrating for me. is that I'm clearing out all of this old programming and all of these old patterns and preparing space for the new me, preparing space for the me that's ready to receive this amount of money. That to me is what manifesting is, and what it's been for me anyway. Back in— back when I was 19, almost 30 years ago, 28 years ago, I guess. Um, I had a dear, dear friend, and I need to probably— I need to reach out to her. But Wanda McGee, and she was in church with me in a little Pentecostal church. And one thing she used to say is you gotta put legs on your prayers, which you gotta move. Yes, you have to ask God for what you want, but you also have to put in the work. And the vision that I, that I had when I was— this was occurring to me was that I was panhandling at a traffic light, you know, asking for money. God's in the car trying to avoid eye contact with me and just keeps driving. Because back— it just reminded me back when I worked with homeless people is that you couldn't just throw money at them and throw a new house at them and a hotel room, whatever else they wanted, because they were still stuck in old patterns. They were stuck in the thought processes that made them homeless in the first place. So giving them money is not going to do them any good. The same applies to me. Giving me the amount of money that I want on this certain date is not going to help me because I'm not in a place to So what did I manifest? Day 98, I manifested an office desk and an office chair. And I'm going to put a picture up here of— on the left you see what I was sitting on for 6 months, and on the right you can see I have arrived executive chair, very soft and cozy. And one of the One part of this manifesting journey was that I was imagining myself at a desk in a comfortable chair, not sitting in a wicker patio chair hurting my butt, or on the couch or whatever. A real office. And it goes back to that all-or-nothing approach of, I'm going to get all this money and all this office and a new MacBook and this and this, and it doesn't happen that way. It's step by step by step. I have shown that I can manage money better than I ever have. I have shown that I can coach and offer quality products to people. As that momentum builds, things are happening for me. On day 98, I sat in this very chair and I just started to cry. I felt I felt the softness and I felt the— and I looked out the— I'm at a window instead of staring at the door, at the wall, you know. And I realized, celebrating the small victories, I'm going to escalate. Every time I sit in this chair, I'm going to— I'm going to be grateful for it. I'm going to say thank you for it. I am building this business. I am building the amount of money I want to make. I am building a new life. Me. This process, this process has revolutionized, revolutionized, revolutionized my life, transformed me in 100 days. Now, there was another 100 days before that that also prepared me for this, but I'm telling you and imploring you, if you want to manifest If you want a change in your life, do something like this. Take 100 days of anything— reading the same poem every day, or journaling every day for 100 days, or just begin to imagine what it is that you want. But hold on to that. It may not happen in a day, a month, a week, a year, but you are moving towards something. You are clearing out what needs to be cleared out, what's not serving you, making space for what does.
