In this short video, Dallas Bragg, a chemsex recovery coach, explains how consistent emotional journaling can help men quickly identify and interrupt the hidden emotional triggers that lead to chemsex relapse. He describes how reviewing daily written records reveals recurring patterns—often unrelated to sexual desire, such as work stress or family conflicts—that precede drug use. By making these subconscious triggers visible on paper, individuals can "snap out" of the automatic cycle and choose a different response. Bragg advises anyone trying to quit, especially those who cannot afford therapy or coaching, to start a daily emotional dump and review the domino effect leading up to use. He offers further support through group coaching, inviting viewers to DM or comment for more information.

This is how I've had many men solve their relapse cycle almost instantaneously. Hi, my name is Dallas. I'm a chemsex recovery coach. I'm not promising an instant healing from relapse, but I am saying that the men that I have encouraged to journal, to journal their emotional state, to journal their thoughts, and to then observe the patterns After a period of time have seen very clearly, after years and years of trying to understand why they keep using, what the actual trigger is. And it is almost some type of emotional state that they're trying to avoid. And when you look at a journal, you will see the same thoughts coming up, the same types of emotional activations. A lot of times it's at work, or it's a family member, or it's something totally unrelated to chemsex. And when you ask them what was the— what was precipitating the use, almost never is it, I got horny and wanted to use. It was, I got upset and one thing led to another, then that got me horny, and then I used. Or one thing led to another and I needed to escape, and then I used, and I had sex while I was on the drug. Sure. But these guys who have done a really consistent job of journaling can go back and review and see on their own very plainly the pattern that continues and continues and continues. And it's subconscious and it's subtle, and it's something that they could never see because they're too much in themselves. And getting somebody to tell them doesn't help either. But when they see it on paper, in writing, their actual patterns, they snap out of it and they're able to interrupt those patterns. So if you are trying to quit and you don't want to, you can't afford coaching, you can't afford therapy, or you've been to treatment or whatever, begin to journal. Write down an emotional dump every single day and And then look back at how the dominoes fell before you used, and I promise you there are golden nuggets in there for you. If you'd like help with this, just DM me or comment the word group, and we'll get you some information on our next group coaching.
