In this personal vlog, Dallas Bragg discusses how traveling can trigger cravings for meth (referred to as "Tina") and outlines a comprehensive set of strategies he uses to stay sober while attending a chemsex summit in Los Angeles. He emphasizes replicating his home recovery routine—journal writing, making his bed, meditation, and prayer—while on the road, maintaining physical fitness by going to a nearby Crunch Fitness, and strictly avoiding hookup apps like Grindr and Sniffies. Bragg schedules regular check‑ins with his support network (mom, children, friends) and makes any cravings or intrusive thoughts immediately public on social media to diminish their power. He also recommends pre‑emptively informing his network about risky plans, using personal mantras that reinforce a non‑using identity, and invites viewers to share their own effective tactics. The video serves as a harm‑reduction guide for individuals managing meth use during travel.

If you're trying to stay away from Tina, traveling can be the biggest trigger of all. You get out of your city and out of your environment, and you're all alone, all by yourself, left to your own devices. It can be trouble, especially if you're staying in a hotel room where all the magic happens. I'm currently traveling in LA, just watching the sunset. I'm here for a chemsex summit. So here are some things that I've done to ensure that I don't Slip. And yes, even after almost 7 years, I cannot be too careful. Most importantly is I keep my routine. I have my journal that I brought. I'm still going to do my journal. I'm still going to make my bed. I'm still going to meditate. I'm still going to pray. I'm going to do everything that I normally do at home. And I'm headed now to Crunch Fitness because there's one nearby so I can keep my workout going too. For me, Grindr and sniffies is a complete no-no. And that might not be the case for you, but for me, It is not allowed when I travel. Actually, it's not allowed in my life at all right now, but that ensures that I don't find myself just seeing who's on. And periodic check-ins are necessary. My mom's good for that, my kids, everyone else in my network of support. They're all checking up on me. I have specified times where I'm checking in with them, and anytime That I have any type of flash or thought. And listen, as soon as I got here to LA— this is the first time I visited LA— I did have this little flash of, hmm, I wonder what it's like, right? I have to put that out in the open. I have to make that known immediately. I will tell all of my support network, and I'm making all of this public on social media, so that will hold me more accountable. Because the more you get that stuff out of the darkness and out of your subconscious into the light, the more it takes its power away. Next is if you find yourself thinking about your calendar and your schedule while you're traveling and you find yourself thinking, hmm, there's a spot where no one would know. There's a couple of hours where I could fit a party in. Here's what I could do is I could prolong my stay and not tell anybody. Listen, I know. I know how you think. If you find yourself doing that, that is an immediate way to To make it public. Begin telling your network about that. Like, I'm having thoughts about this. I'm making a plan. I just want you to know to check on me at this time, at this date. There's a thousand other things you can do. You can make a mantra that you say over and over, like, what would someone who doesn't use Tina do? What would someone who loves themselves do? What would someone who's achieving their best and highest version Do in this moment. And now I'm getting ready to go do that. I'm gonna go work out. If you guys have any questions or anything you want to add that's worked for you, please tell me in the comments.
