I called my mom and I said, you know, Mom, I'm going through this and I'm having problems. I'm using drugs. I've been lying to you for years. I don't know what to do. And she said, figure it the fuck out, and hung up on me. Oh, okay. Well, what that made me do is get up the next morning and start searching for treatment centers that would accept the insurance that I was on, Medicare and Medicaid at the time, and, um, would accept my insurance. And I found Wilmington Treatment Center. I contacted them. And September— no, this was— I'm sorry, October the 15th is the day I walked into that treatment center. That's my sobriety date, October the 15th, 2022. And I've never looked back.
