Hey, if you cannot seem to stop using or relapsing on Tina, here is what worked for me. Ask yourself first, what is the biggest trigger for me? Answers are going to vary, of course, but the one that is mostly— most common in the queer community is the chemically elevated time between the sheets. Underneath that drive for the experience is the real primal need your addiction is seeking. Addiction needs to calm that core pain. It's inside. Your core pain isn't just getting your rocks off. It is loneliness, acceptance, validation, approval, anger, hurt. When you pinpoint the actual need of the addiction, you can redirect your efforts to soothe it. And I promise drugs are never the answer to long-term peace.
