Dallas Bragg argues you create your own triggers through interpretation, not external events. His mentor Peter Crone says people and circumstances are mirrors showing where you lack freedom. Holding onto anger signals doubt in a larger plan and keeps the same triggers coming back.

I want to invite you to change your language away from they triggered me or that triggered me, because nothing outside of you, they or that, triggers you. You trigger you. Your interpretation of them and that triggers you. One of the guys that I follow that's really a mentor of mine, Peter Crone, he says life brings you people and circumstances to reveal to you where you're not free. Those triggers are your soul calling something in to reveal to you where you need to work, where you're not free, where you're holding yourself back, where you've created that prison that we've been talking about. But you, if you return that trigger with anger, and I'm not talking about trigger to use per se, it could be a trigger to use or it could be an emotional trigger. When you return with anger, resentment, when you lash out at that person, When you focus on that thing and that circumstance, when you focus on everything else besides yourself, then you are telling the universe, your soul, God, whatever you want to say, you are doubting the plan that's getting you to where you want to be. You want to be free. So when you doubt that plan with negative emotion, you are playing God and you're discounting the benefit that That that trigger is giving you. So when we return it with negative emotion, whether it's anger, whatever it is, especially anger, anger toward that person or anger toward those people or that circumstance, that anger negates all your growth. That anger grows and you're gonna continue to be triggered by the same things over and over until you release it. Happy Monday.
