Building a One Person Online Business with AI in 2026 | Part 2: Getting Clients

In this second installment of his series on creating a solo, AI‑assisted online business, Daniel Fazio walks viewers through the entire client‑acquisition pipeline. He begins by recapping why digital services—specifically text‑based offers such as cold‑email lead generation, ads & funnels, content agencies, e‑commerce email marketing, and AI‑automation agencies—are the optimal products for a one‑person operation because they can be largely automated with AI and require no physical presence or large capital outlay. He then explains how to construct offers that overcome a beginner’s lack of authority by using risk reversals: explicit guarantees and performance‑based pricing (e.g., tech fees plus per‑call fees). The video outlines three lead‑generation channels—content, outreach, and paid ads—highlighting the trade‑offs of speed, cost, and scalability, and recommends focusing on outreach (Dream 100 and mass cold‑email) until the business can afford ads. Fazio details the Dream 100 method, where a personalized, AI‑generated deliverable (e.g., a VSL script or email sequence) is sent to a very small, highly‑targeted list, and contrasts it with high‑volume cold‑email campaigns that require multiple domains, inboxes, and lead lists, noting the significant monthly cost. He provides concrete pricing models (e.g., $500/month tech fee + $200‑$400 per booked call) and stresses the importance of testing many email script variations, treating scripts like ad creatives. The speaker also tackles niche selection, urging viewers to avoid “proven” saturated niches and instead target obscure high‑ticket markets (>$10k) where competition is low and response rates are high. He shares a 30‑day outreach schedule (10 outreaches per day, one new niche per day) and recommends using AI agents to harvest contact data. The sales call process is broken down into discovery (qualifying fit, TAM size, pricing compatibility) and “deliverable stacking”—a detailed, transparent pitch that lists every component of the service. Throughout, Fazio intersperses promotional calls to action for his four‑day AI Business Challenge, the AI‑Assisted Agency program, and the Client Ascension AI platform, while emphasizing that results depend on execution and offering a 60‑day money‑back guarantee. The overall message is a step‑by‑step, data‑driven framework for acquiring clients as a solo founder using AI‑enhanced automation.

This is part two of building a one person profitable online business in 2026. And part one, which will be linked down below in the description we talked about what to sell. In this video we're going to talk about how to get clients and customers for the thing that you were selling. This is a three part series, so if you want to make sure you see part three, click the subscribe button, put the bell notification on to see it when it comes out. And if you're a beginner watching this, I recommend you go to my channel and just binge like 10 to 20 videos because all I talk about is making money on the Internet, signing clients, how to build an AI assisted agency and how to make much money as you possibly can. My name is Daniel Fazio. I run two companies. One is a software company called List Kit. Another is a consulting company called Client Ascension. We do anywhere from 1.2 to $1.4 million per month right now at the time of this filming. So in part one we talked about the different types of things you could sell. We had physical products, digital products, physical services and digital services. We reasoned that because you want to run a one person online digitally based business, which obviously for the reasons that it doesn't require your physical presence, our reasoning took us that physical one would require too much capital. Digital products, you don't have enough authority to warrant being able to sell those. Physical services would require your physical presence and digital services are the ones that you should sell because it doesn't require a high level of authority or case studies from previous clients and it doesn't require your physical presence in any one location. Therefore we reason that this is what you should sell. We also walk through the actual offers that you should sell. Again with our reasoning. Because you want to run a one person online business, it took us down the path of reasoning that you don't want to have to hire a bunch of people and you don't want something that is insanely complex. We need digital services that we can over index on automation and AI instead of manual labor, right? With that said, we walked through what offers fit these parameters and here's what they are. 1. Cold email lead generation 2. Ads and funnels 3. Content agency 4. E com email marketing and 5 is AI automation agency. Now we chose these five offers specifically because the base fundamental of what you are selling in these offers is text based. Like it's fundamentally text based. So like cold email lead generation, fundamentally what you're sending are emails which are text ads and funnels like ad scripts like the Creation of funnels, it's digitally rendered deliverable content agencies, content scripts, it's more emails. The reasoning why this is important is because AI can create the deliverables for, for the clients. Which means that in order to fulfill for a client, it doesn't require that you spend months becoming an expert at something. Like you don't need to spend like six months becoming an expert copywriter because AI can just get you 80, 90% of the way there pretty much immediately with like literally like two days of training. And then also you don't need to deal with hiring people and pay people that you're hiring. And experts obviously cost a lot of money. So it eliminates that from being a necessity to get started and reach numbers like 5 or 10k a month. You could do that by yourself and you could do it without 50, 60 hour weeks or being insanely stressed with it because again, AI takes you like 80 to 90% of the way there. All of these offers fit these parameters in order to achieve that. So in order for us to understand how to acquire clients for these offers in the first place, we need to talk about three things. So the first is offer construction, two is generating leads and three is closing those leads. This is the outline for this video. We're going to go 1, 2, 3. So pay attention. We're going to start off with offer construction. So we left off part one by talking about guarantees and risk reversals. And the reason why we were talking about that was because I was conveying to you that when you're just starting out, you have a very low level of authority. So we have you down here and then we have a prospect over here. The problem when there's a gap between your guys level of authority is that the prospect feels like they're in a position of power over you. The problem with that is then when you're asking them for money, they have the cards and they're like get fucked. You get. I'm saying it's very easy to say no. It's because what they're deeming is that you, old Jimmy over here, who's just starting his agency with zero case studies, you are risky. What does that mean, risky? Like what is a prospect thinking when they're saying that when a business is buying something from you, like one of these offers that we spoke about up here above, what they're fundamentally doing is investing money to make more money. That's why a business owner buys anything. That's why you would invest in anything. Like if you were considering buying a course Or a coaching program or something like that, or maybe even a done for you service if you're a more sophisticated buyer. The entire purpose of you purchasing that is to receive a return on your investment and make money, such as also the nature of the prospect. So when you have no authority and you have no case studies, they're deeming that the probability that they give you money and they lose their money is very high. Why? Because you have no proof that you've done it before. You're a risky bet. It's very simple logic to understand. So what does that mean we have to do in order to compensate for this lack of authority that you have in the beginning? And the answer is that you need to use risk reversals. So there are two types of risk reversals. So you have guarantees and then performance based pricing. A guarantee would be when you promise a client that they would get a specific result through working with you. Like a specific quantifiable, viable result. Whether that's how many calls that they have booked, how many clients they've signed, how much money they've made, and if they don't get that result that you will refund them the money that they paid you. The second version is you make an arrangement with a client that they pay as the result occurs. So for instance, hey client, I'm going to send cold emails for you and you pay me $200 per call that is booked is a very common pricing mechanism that cold email agencies do. For instance, what you have to understand is that if you're a beginner and you choose to not do these, you're just not going to sign any clients. It's going to be way too hard, it's going to take way too long. What people who are smart do is they start off doing this, which allows them to sign clients, which allows them to build case studies faster, way, way faster, five times, 10 times faster, which increases their authority. Because now they have case studies and proof that they can get results, which therefore means they can remove the guarantee. Now they're only able to remove the guarantee because of the increase in authority. This is why it's important you understand that the whole purpose of this doing this risk reversal stuff is so that you can build authority, get the case studies and be able to not have to do that anymore. You see what I mean? Now that doesn't always mean you have to remove your risk reversal. Like for instance, my AI assisted agency program has a 60 day satisfaction money back guarantee. Now there's obviously stipulations in that where it's like you can't just come in and do nothing and get a refund. You have to try and actually do the thing. And then if you don't like it, if you've done the thing, then you can request a refund. Such as also the nature when you have your own guarantees, you just have to design it in the contract where the client can't absolutely screw you because it's their fault they didn't get results. You see what I mean by that? Okay, so like just to walk you through an example of performance based pricing, we'll just walk through like a cold email agency. Again, this is like completely the single handedly best single pricing construction you can have for this business. Specifically what these guys charge and what I always instruct my students to charge when they run this business is a $500 per month tech fee. Okay, the tech fee, you're literally spending the tech fee that's on domains, inboxes, leads and software to conduct the cold emailing at all for the client. That's like what the 500 doll 4 then? Plus 200 to $400 per call. That's the most successful pricing mechanism for cold email as a service ever created, ever. Anybody who tells you to not do that when you're starting out is like wrong. They're literally just wrong. This is how you do this. Okay, now compare this to going to a client and just saying something like, I'll send cold emails for you for $3,000 a month. Like over here, if you were charging $300 a call and you book him 10 calls, you're making 3k a month. Compare this to this guy. This guy probably thinks he'll be able to book 10 calls, but he's just saying, Hey, I charge $3,000 a month. You as a buy prefer. The answer is clearly this one. There's literally no way you would choose this one over this one unless this guy had extremely high authority in the form of case studies. Case studies, proof, testimonials. Like maybe he has a bunch of followers on social media, is like well respected in his niche. That's the only way you would ever choose this one in comparison to this one. But again, you don't have that, so therefore do this. You just have to understand that what I can charge, like me, Daniel Fazio, is not what Alex Hermosi can charge for a consulting call. Alex Hermosi can charge you like $100,000 an hour. I charge 15 an hour. I successfully sell people at $1500 an hour. If I raised it to $2500 an hour or $3000 an hour. I probably wouldn't get people buying it, but Alex Hormozy probably actively gets people to buy it for $100,000 an hour. It's just reality. He just has more authority than me. He just has more credentials than me. That's just how the world works. You have to recognize where you are in the scale and stop diluting yourself. And to think that it isn't real because it is real. Why is this important? And the answer is the purpose of a guarantee is to the call in the first place. I want to repeat this. It's to get people on the call in the first place. It's not to close them. What you need to understand is that it is more difficult to get a prospect on the phone than it is to get them to give you money when they're on their phone. You could send thousands of cold emails, like literally thousands of cold emails and only book a couple calls. When you get these people on the call, you're probably going to collect money from 1 out of 5 or 2 out of 5 them. The probability you get money from somebody when they're already on the phone is legitimately hundreds of times more likely than it is that you even get them to book a call at all. The purpose of the guarantee is to be able to use it in a headline or an outreach message to get them on the call. When you're running performance based pricing like this, you get to say shit like, hey, her call, hold email, lead gen or B2B companies. If your headline, your website says pay per call, there's going to be substantially more people who are interested. And you get to say stuff like we book you qualified sales calls on a performance basis. The act of saying that, like in an outreach message or having it on your website, you say it's performance basis. That's what gets people to book a call in the first place. So like when I'm like expressing this advice to you about, yeah, you need to have a guarantee or you need to do something like this, I'm saying it so you even get the opportunity to speak to prospects at all. Because if you don't say that, nobody is booking a call with you. And that's the problem, you'll never even get an at bat ever. You'll literally never even touch the field at all unless you say this. So now with all that said, let's move on to how to generate leads. There are three ways to sign clients. You have content, outreach and ads. These are the three ways to sign clients. Content, outreach, and ads. If you've watched other videos in my channel, you've probably seen my reasoning for why you need to pick each of these. Real quick, guys. Before we continue, I want to point you to our AI business challenge that we are about to host. It is the first link in the description. The tickets are currently less than $100. The price may raise. We're going to teach you what to sell, who to sell it to. We're to build AI agents live. We're going to build outreach campaigns live. We're going to build sales systems live. We're going to build AI marketing assets live. The tickets are currently under $100. There's going to be a countdown timer on that page. When that timer ends and the challenge starts, you can't buy a ticket anymore. The registration is going to close. So you want to get one before. Either that or we sell out. So go to the first link in the description. Click that. Go get a ticket right now. We had 500 people last time who bought a ticket. It's probably going to sell out. You want to go get that right now? The tickets, again, are under $100 right now. The price is going to go up. I'm going to raise it. If you want to get that, go to the first thing in the description and I'll see you over there live on the challenge. And if you're watching this after the challenge is live, there will be a wait list instead. So you'll just have to go on the waitlist and it'll be months until we do another one. So if you want to get access now, do it right now, because you're not going to remember in the future. Just go get it right now. All right, let's continue with the video. Let's compare content outreach and ads. So content slow. It's money cheap. Time expensive, but it scales infinitely. Outreach fast means it works fast. Like, you can get calls booked, like, immediately. It's money cheap. It's time expensive. In relation to content, it scales linearly, meaning if you stop doing it, it stops working. Right. Ads are fast. They're money expensive. They're time cheap. And it scales linearly. Again, if you stop spending on ads, it stops working. Now compare these based on your situation. So I imagine a lot of you guys watching this, you want something that works fast. You probably don't have tens of thousands of dollars to spend, so you need something that's money cheap. So that means, like, the only resource you have is time. While this is a drawback is that it only scales linearly. What's more important to you is that it's working fast and it's money cheap. So therefore the only one that has that combination is outreach, which is exactly what you should be doing until you're no longer money poor. It's outreach. There's two types of outreach. Dream 100 then cold email. Now you might be saying like, Daniel, like, what does that mean? Let me explain the difference between these dream 100 while it still can be conducted via send cold email. This strategy is different than what I'm defining cold email as here. Dream 100 is when you make a valuable document or like thing for somebody and you give it to them. You just say like, here's a VSL script I wrote for you. Here's an email sequence I wrote for you, fully scripted out. Hey, here's a bunch of ad scripts I wrote for you, fully scripted out. To dream 100, you only send it to a very low amount of people because you can only do so much of that per day. You can't send thousands and thousands of thousands of Dream 100 messages. Cold email is when you send mass outreach, thousands, tens of thousands of outreach messages, messages without pre made deliverable or document. And this is where you just are asking if somebody is interested in your offer, if they want more info, if they want to get on a call, if they want a video explainer that you haven't made yet, an audit that you haven't made yet. And if they say yes, then you'll go make it. That's what I'm defining cold email as. It's mass outreach different from Dream 100. We're going to walk through both of these, but first you need to know who to send these messages to. Like who are you even going to target? So let's talk about who to send outreach to. These are the people that you're going to sell sell your offer to. This is a source of anxiety for a lot of people. You're always going to ask around what's a proven niche? Just give me a proven niche. I don't want to spend a bunch of time like targeting people who aren't going to work. Like, just give me a proven niche. Like what niches are working right now? You can't ask that question. That question fundamentally doesn't work. There are no proven niches. Let me explain why and then I'm going to tell you what to actually do in order to find niches that will work without it being a proven niche. I've experienced this because I've made courses and whatnot before and like obviously content online. And I've told people, hey, this is a proven niche. Like, go target these people in this niche. Okay? What immediately happens is that every single person on the planet targets that niche. What happens within the span of three days, it's no longer a proven niche. Now the problem with this is that there's like literally hundreds, 500, 600, like a thousand plus niches that can work for any of the services that you're selling. Now what your actual problem is is just having a list of like these hundreds of niches, right? All you need to is that who you sell to just needs to sell high ticket products or services. And when I say high ticket, I mean it costs $10,000 plus it needs to be what I call obscure niches. There's a case study on my channel that I did with one of my students in AI Assisted agency. His name is Cabrin. Cabrin, Running an ads and funnels agency for info product businesses like coaches and consultants and shit. One of the most saturated, proven niches of all time. It's so difficult to sign clients in that niche because thousands of people target that niche. So like, therefore it isn't proven. It's hard, it's very difficult. It' not easy. A beginner will literally never sign a client in that niche ever. It's too saturated with people who have high levels of authority. Therefore it's not proven. Cabrin, like actually has a level of skill. So when I introduced this concept to him, the concept of finding obscure niches, he literally got a list of like 500 of them. He just started doing outreach to these obscure niches. And the response rate was like 40 or 50%. And you'll see on my channel that he added $44,000 per month to his agency in literally a single month of dollar doing this. That's targeting obscure niches. Because his response rate went from probably like less than 1%, the prospects are all pain in the ass to 40, 50%. Like literally almost half the people he outreaches to in these obscure niches were open to doing a service with him. Why? Because with these obscure niches, nobody ever even thinks consciously of their existence at all. Really off the beaten path. Like, what the fuck? That's a thing. Like those kinds of people who just sell really expensive stuff. So he starts selling to those people. They made a tremendous amount of money. If you want to learn how to do that and like have me just deliver you list of these hundreds of people you should join. Again, what I talked about earlier, the AI Business challenge that is in the first link in the description. And I'm going to literally give you the prompts and the whole systems to find these people. And that'll be included inside of there. So if you're interested in that, go get that right now. Because the tickets are less than $100. Just going back to this reason why they need to have $10,000 plus stuff is because it's so much easier to work with a client if you get them one customer, literally one customer, they've made an ROI of 5x. If you're charging 2k, just so absurdly easier, compare that to someone who's selling like a fucking $50 product. You need to get them to so many customers. It's such a pain in the ass. Too hard. You're on easy mode. And I understand, like there's probably some of you guys here who are like, well, somebody has to work with the people who sell the low ticket stuff, like why can't it be me? And the answer is somebody may have to do that. It doesn't have to be you. Like, stop making your life difficult because it's completely unnecessary to do that. So just don't. They sell high ticket product or service that's above $10,000, right? And sometimes they sell something that's like $30,000 or $50,000 and then like you negotiate like a rev share on top of that and that' up getting like super rich. That's like literally how that occurs. Let's talk about Dream 100, the activity of conducting Dream 100. You guys will see things where it's like, sometimes people talk about outreach and it's like what you want to do is you want to not make the thing up front and just say like, hey, I looked at your site and there's three recommendations of what I would do to increase conversion rates. Or I looked at your email flows. I made a new sequence for you and if you want it, respond back and let me know. It's not what doing I'm saying to do. I'm saying that you make the thing up front like it's in a Google Doc and then you share the Google Doc with their email. And then you send them a manual email written by you with the link to the Google Doc. And then you also find their Instagram and email them the doc on their Instagram. You also find their LinkedIn and do it on their LinkedIn. You find them on Facebook and do it on their Facebook you try to get that doc in their hands by any means necessary. That's what Dream 100 Outreach is, is you made the thing up front. Why? Because it shows initiative. Let me give you some examples of these and explain how like AI does it. If you're running like an ads or funnels agency, what would you do? You could have one where it's ad scripts, you can do email sequences, you could do sales pages, you could do VSL scripts and you make the thing upfront, you put it in a doc and then you send it them. It's actually awesome because we have a thing called Client Ascension AI that we give to our students. And we literally just made our own AI agent that creates these Dream 100 documents where you just put the person's website in or their funnel link and it just like makes the shit for you. You just tell it, what do you want? You want this, this, this or this? We have it for each business model and then it just goes and creates that. It's like actually fucking awesome. You could do it yourself by manually prompting AI yourself and trying to calibrate it correctly with your own like mega prompts that you make with this. But you'd have to go give it like examples of like successful ones. You could do that yourself. That is the process that you would do. And that's just what we did to have our own AI agent do this. It's just pre calibrated for all our students. Going back to the idea before of saying like, what if I just ask them if they want it before I make it? Because that would save time. I'm not saying that doesn't work work. It does work. Sometimes it can work for you. However, it just tends to be a higher probability of success if you don't do that. Life is a math game. You need to take every single advantage that you can possibly muster. Don't leave anything on the table. Never leave anything on the table. Take all of the advantage that you can possibly get. Whatsoever. You can use AI to generate shit like this for like fucking 14 cents in like three minutes. If it takes three minutes to do them and you spend 30 minutes. Minutes. What does that mean? It means you made 10. And we just talked about earlier. Cabrin was getting 40 to 50% response rate. That's four to five responses. Let's say you book calls with half of them. It's two calls per day for like a dollar, a literal dollar of AI credits in 30 minutes of your time. Completely absurd. Am I promising that you're going to get 40 to 50%. No, I'm not. It might be 5%, but even if it was 5%, the math still maths. It literally does. It's just a game of math and like modeling out. It takes me this long to make one of these and send them. It cost me this much, 14 cents. So therefore if I do this for 72 minutes, I'm going to book a call or I'm going to book two calls. So therefore I have to spend this many minutes to book a call. If I model out the my close rate is going to be 20% and I charge $2,000 a month. That means that if I want to close one client per week, I need five calls per week. And that will make me $2,000. If it takes me 40 minutes to generate one call. What that means is it's 200 minutes to acquire a 2,000 dol month client. 200 minutes is 3.33 hours. $2,000 for 3.33 hours. That's $600 an hour. I don't know about you, but I would do some shit like that for $600 an hour. Like that's fine. That's a lot of money. And I see this all the time. Like it's really just simple math like this. You might be under the guise that Daniel, if you sell a product, like a coaching program like you do at Client Ascension and AI Assisted Agency, and you give this information to people and like you teach them and you give them all the systems to execute it and they don't get results. Like it's your fault. Like you just have a bad product. What you're not. People don't do anything. Literally like most people don't do anything. And we'll send them like two, three, four, five messages a week. We'll be like, hey, let's hop on a call. They won't hop on calls with us. They'll literally just not do anything. That's why people don't get results. And it's like, I'm not saying that you have to join my stuff to get results. The probability obviously tremendously goes up if you do. The reason why you don't get results doing anything is because like you fail to math all of this out and then actually do it. Like you're just not doing it. Yeah, it takes effort to do this. You're using the assessment assistance of AI. If you had to go build this shit, we used to do this manually and it would take not fucking three minutes to make one. It would take fucking three hours to make one literally three hours to make this shit. So you can imagine that these numbers, like this goes from $600 an hour to like fucking $10 an hour. You have it so easy now. If you can't figure this out, like, it really is your fault. Here's an outreach schedule that you should follow. 30 days, one niche per day, 10 outreaches per day. So day one is niche one. You do 10 outreach messages to niche one. The next day you're on niche two. You outreach messages to niche two, then you go to niche three, do 10 outreach messages to niche three. And these are all with dream 100 deliverable documents. You do this for 30 days in a row. You've sent 30 outreach messages and you've learned a shit ton. You've learned like what people are responding to, what they're not responding to, what niches seem to have a better response rate than others. You learn a lot. It's almost like you have to like actively attempt to fuck this up to not book any calls. It would be very improbable for you to not end up with a client after doing this. Like extremely, extremely improbable. And in terms of finding the email addresses and the owners and founders of these companies and what whatnot, just have an AI agent do it. You would just go to any AI agent tool with an agent functionality and tell it to find 10 founders or owners in this niche. You want the email address and all the social profiles, it will find them. Any LLM with an agent function can do this. ChatGPT Claude Manus they'll do it. Now let's talk about cold email. Let me first explain this. Normally what I tell people to do is sign one to three clients. With Dream 100, you'll probably be making like a couple thousand dollars in profit once you've done this. So you've signed client, you're making a couple thousand dollars in profit. So that means you have capital. Cold email. Like this high volume, automated cold email stuff costs money. Why does it cost money? Because what you need is you have domain, then you have inbox and you have another domain and you have inbox and then another domain inbox. And all these inboxes all lead to a campaign with leads. The sending of the emails. Domains cost money. You have to buy domains. Inboxes cost money, you have to buy inboxes. Leads cost money. You have to buy leads list or pay for software that has leads list. That's literally what list kit is. It sells leads. And then you need a sending tool which costs money. It's basically completely useless to even try this at all. With less than $600 a month, you might as well just not even bother. You're not going to have enough volume. You have to spend at least like $600 a month of this. Domains are $12 each. Inboxes are normally like $6 a month, something like that. You get a shit ton of these because you can only send like 20 emails per day per inbox. Generally want to do two inboxes under one domain. You do the math here. If you're going to try to send like 10,000 cold emails a month, you need a shit to and inboxes and leads. So it just costs money. Basically useless to do it. Less than $600 a month. That is why you should sign one to three clients with Dream 100 before doing this. Because you can afford $600 a month. Now what is like a good cold email script look like? Like, what do you say? Because I'm sure some of you guys have gotten cold emails and your conception of high volume cold email is probably something like, yeah, it's just a bunch of spam. It's all annoying spam shit. I understand that. The reality is that there's just a category of human who responds to cold emails. You might be a person who doesn't buy a anything from like Facebook ads or Instagram ads. A lot of people do. You might not be the kind of person who buys stuff from cold email, but people do. Like, I used to own a house. I don't anymore. I'm not going to own a house for a while. I actually hate, I hated owning a house. Don't do that. I prefer renting but when I lived in a house there are a lot of door to door salesmen like coming around selling shit. I hated that. I despise that. Like you talk to some of these guys and say, dude, they're making like hella sales doing that. Some category of human responds to that and converts on that. Everyone has their own like method of converting. I buy stuff from Instagram ads all the time. Meta ads. Like my dad tells me he's like, no, I would never literally ever even clicked any of the ads. I just scroll past them like, oh, that's interesting. I'm not the same. Like people are different. Just because you don't respond or convert off cold emails doesn't mean other people don't because they do. Like we sign clients with cold email all of the time. Multiple clients a week from cold email at List Kit. What was a good Script look like. You have to think of scripts as ads. So the way ads ads work, you have a campaign and then you have the ad set, which is normally like the audience. That's where you set the audience level, like who is getting the ads and then you have the ads which are the creatives. Cold email is the same thing. You're advertising a service, you're literally making an advertisement. You have like a campaign and then you have the lead list, which is again the audience. It's the same thing. And then you have scripts which are the creatives. It's the same exact thing. Now it's common knowledge that when you launch ads, you don't just have one ad ad creative. And especially with Meta Andromeda, right now you really want like 20 or 30. That's like considered bare minimum. So it's very interesting to me when people go to cold email and they're like, yeah, I wrote one script. You used one ad in your ad campaign. And they're like, what? No, it's cold email. I'm like, no, why are you not testing 10? Why are you not testing 20? What is the reasoning as to why you haven't done that? It doesn't make any sense. It's the same thing as ad. You don't bet all of your ad dollars on a single ad creative. You don't bet all of your cold email volume on a single script. You don't do that. What do you say though? Like, how would it even work? Let me just like give you an example. You might say something like, hey, name, right? That's called a merge field. The name would automatically be imposed on that right there. I can help you get result. Whatever the result is that you're promising in time period, however long you're promising it takes to get them, is that something you'd be interested in? That's one variation. Then you could say the same thing. But then I can send over a document explaining how it works. So now you're just changing the call to action at the end. Then you can say something like, hey, name. I can help you get result in time period. I worked with Company X and was able to get them result. Is that something you'd be interested in? So now you've injected a case study. You need to test this. I just get the question all the time. Like, what's the outreach script that's working to this niche? It's like, it doesn't work like that. It just doesn't work like that. You can be some dude selling the same offer as somebody else to the same exact niche. And they get results and you don't. Why? It's like they like his name better. They went to his website and they liked what his website said. It could be just like random distribution of chance of what time you emailed the person or whatever the. There's so many different variables. You can't predict the future. What worked in the past as a script that was working for you may no longer work in the future. Circumstances in that niche and industry change. Things just happen. You just need to make 10, 20 variations of what you're saying. Because it's the same thing as ads. It's ad creative. You can't bet on a singular one. You have to switch it up. It's really important that you understand is because a lot of people, they'll try to start sending outreach messages, whether that's Dream 100 or whether that's cold email, and it doesn't immediately, immediately work for them, and they throw like a little hissy fit. It's like, this doesn't work. This is a scam. Like, screw that guy who told me to do this. Like, just keep it going. Cut the ego out of this. Think of all the possible variables that must exist for you to have a system for finding complete strangers on the Internet and then like, somehow getting them to pay you thousands of dollars. That's like an insane feat to think of when you think about it. If it was so easy, then everyone would do it and it would no longer work anymore. But not everybody does it because it's hard. And when you hit these points where it's hard and something doesn't immediately work, that's. People give up. And that's the sifting mechanism to get people out and shake people out. That's why if you get really good at it, you can make so much money because you have no competition of people who actually actively do it, because they all got sifted out and give up upon hitting literally any form of a roadblock of any size whatsoever. You have to just get through it. There are only a finite amount of things that are working at any given time. And it's always shifting like a river. It's. Nothing is ever constant. You always need to be, like, slightly pivoting or morphing yourself. The flow of the river. You cannot control the flow of the river. You just have to follow where it goes. Right? So therefore, something that is working right now will not continue to work forever. And something that worked six months ago no longer works today. I'm trying to Give you like the base fundamental understanding of how you can make money forever. I'm trying to teach you how to fish. If I just give you answers, they may work right now, next week or into the next few weeks, but it will stop. You just have to test tons of different stuff. You just have to. Let's talk about sales. You got to climb. Call booked. This is another huge source of anxiety for a lot of people. It's like I have to talk to a business owner. I don't really know anything about business too much. I kind of like really don't know what I'm talking about. And I don't want to embarrass myself. I don't want to look like an idiot. So the point is that you're not trying to fake what you are. I just want to like ease your nerves here. You're never hiding the fact that you're a beginner or this person would be your first client. In this case, you're probably selling like a performance based offer in what you're doing. Explaining to them the reason why you set it up like that is because. Because they would be your first client to which then you just relaying, yeah, I'm not always going to have it like that. Like when I get case studies, which I hope you are, by the way, I'm not going to ever sell it like that again. I'm going to get money up front. But I understand right now that I don't have case studies. I don't have like any really authority for you to bet on confidently here. The reason why it's a performance offer. You're only paying me after the result occurs is to compensate for that fact. You're being very upfront and honest about this. So it's like, don't think you have to play this like little game where you're lying or whatnot because then that's just going to give you like a high degree of anxiety that you really just don't want. What you need to do is you need to act like you're a doctor prescribing medicine. Say you're selling cold email Legion. You get on the phone with some B2B company and you're going through the process of a sales call. You're going through the process of discovery. What would discovery mean in your. For instance, it would be like, do you want more sales calls and can you handle more? Your offer is fundamentally to get them more sales calls. So you need to ask them, is that what you're looking for? Do you want more Sales calls. If they say yes, then yes. Some people might say no, in which case it's like, oh, well, that's like what my offer is for. So like, you don't even really, really want what I have. That's fine. You just weed them out and discovery, okay, it's not for you. There also might be people who can't handle more sales calls. You might get on the phone with someone, they're like, we're booked out like 100% of days. And like, we literally can't handle more sales calls. Okay, well like, I can't sell you this because you can't handle more sales calls. You know what I mean? Then two, can you scrape the emails of their target market? For instance, if they tell you like, yeah, we sell to E commerce brands. Very easy market to scrape the email addresses of. And there's hundreds of thousands of the millions of. So it's really easy to get those. Now if they say some shit like, yeah, we only work with private schools in upstate New York only. We don't work with anything else besides private schools in upstate New York. Okay, well, there's probably like 40 of them that exist at all. This isn't for you. Then you need to have a total addressable market that is multiple tens of thousands of people at least. In which case you would reject these people literally. For instance, like at List Kit, when we sell cold emails, we have an application form. One of the questions is, how large is your total addressable market? And if it's less than 15,000 people, we just straight up reject them. We functionally, literally can't work with you. Even if you have a really good offer with a really good price point, it doesn't matter. There's not enough people you get. I'm saying, like, it's literally just impossible to do it all. Now it could be, how much do you charge for your product now? For instance, if they're selling a product that's $100, dude, this isn't going to work with cold email. Like, I'm charging like $300 a call. They may be a business that makes a lot of profit and whatnot, very successful, but it's just. Just not for you. It's like dating someone can be like really hot, but their personality just is just not for you. You guys just don't get along. You just aren't compatible. And that's what you're trying to figure out here in Discovery. It's just, are you compatible or not? It's literally just an interview. They interview you you interview them. This is the part where you're interviewing them. And a lot of people when you're first starting out, like, you don't realize that that's like what you need to do. It's like you're just trying to sell, sell, sell, sell frantically, like, explain what you do to them. You're not understanding that a lot of people just won't fundamentally be a fit. And in which case, yes, you literally have to tell them on the call, like, this won't work for you because of this reasoning. It literally just won't. Right. That's what discovery is. Say you've done all this. It's a good fit. Yeah, this is like a perfect person to send cold emails for or whatever it is you're selling this. Perfect person to do content marketing for. Perfect person to do ads and funnels for. It doesn't matter. This is where you'd go in and you transition into a pitch. This is how you'll fuck this up. Some people, their pitch literally might just be, I send cold emails for your business. Okay, bro, that's not gonna work. Like, you can't just say that. Oh, yeah, I send cold emails for your business. Let's flip this back so you consciously understand what is occurring. Imagine you're the buyer and I'm selling you my list kit. Cold email setup offer my list kit. AI outbound offer. Say you actively run an agency, so obviously you need sales calls booked. Assume you make like 10k a month, 20k a month, whatever. And then I'm like, yeah, we'll send cold emails for you. Like, what are the questions you're going to have? Okay, what does that mean? You're going to send cold emails for me? Okay, like what else? That's literally what you're going to say. You're going to say, what else? What does that mean? What is your what else mean? They would say, what else? How does it work? How many cold emails? Who are you sending the emails to? Like, how do you find them? How do you make sure they're qualified people? Because we don't want a bunch of unqualified people. What if the calls don't have show up? What if it's all really bad leads? You can't afford anything. Your pitch needs to do what I call deliverable stacking. I'm going to write this down. Deliverable stacking. If you've watched my other videos on my channel, you've probably seen me talk about this. This concept of deliverable stacking and what this functionally means is that you're just actually explaining a built out product. As I write this out, compare this to this. I send cold emails for your business like that's your pitch. Compare that to saying this instead, like this is your pitch. I'm going to register 50 domains on your behalf. I'm going to spin up two inboxes under each of those domains for a total of 100 inboxes. I'm going to place all those inboxes into a private IP pool in order to not mix sending reputation with other people. Then I'm going to scrape 12,000 leads in your target market that you specify with me. I want to write 15 script variations of what we're going to say to these prospects. 15 fully written out different email sequences to split test among all of them. I'm going to warm up all the inboxes to ensure we don't hit spam. We're going to send 40,000 emails per month. I will manage the responses and book them onto your calendar. I'm going to set up pre call, warm up sequences with your case studies. I'm going to screen out unqualified leads before they hit your calendar. Then I charge $500 per month tech fee to cover the costs, cover all the hard costs. That is 100% being spent on all the stuff. And then $250 for showed up call. So, so you don't pay for calls that don't show up. This, all of this is an actual pitch. This is a pitch compared to this. This is not a pitch. You need to stack the deliverables of everything you do. I do this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this. And you'll notice when I was explaining this, I was saying the reason why I'm doing that. So if you want to hear me do that again, just like rewind a little bit like as I write these out and say I do this because this, I do this because this. I do this so that. I do this so that. That's what you're articulating to somebody when you're conducting this. So generally you'd have this all written out for yourself on a sales deck. This can be a Google Slide presentation, it can be a Google Doc, it can be a Gamma Doc. And then you just screen share yourself going over each of this. You don't have to memorize it or it's like. And then people can like follow along with you as you're doing it. Like that's completely fine. All right guys, that's it for this video.
