What's up, everybody? I got Adam here. Adam, my friend, I would like to ask you, how long have you been in client ascension, and what revenue level did you join at, and then what revenue level are you at now?
So coming up on five months in client ascension. So just about four and a half months. Joined at $0 a month, and now we're at $32,000 a month. Nice.
And what is your business like? What do you sell and who do you sell it to?
We do B2B SaaS for. Or. Sorry. We do SEO for B2B SaaS companies and general B2B companies.
And you. And you already knew how to do SEO before this, right?
Yeah, I was sending emails, and I kind of started the business. Just didn't have many clients at all. Yeah.
So. All right, so what was the main differentiator then? Like, because before you joined, like, you were still, like, you're still trying to run the business, but it wasn't working particularly well. Like, what's. What was the difference? Or, like, what did you learn and start executing client ascension that took you up to $30,000 a month in that short of a time frame.
Like what.
Like, what happened here?
Yeah, it was a lot of little things over kind of the entire sales process and the entire onboarding process, fulfillment process. So it was a ton of little things throughout the entire system of a business. I kind of knew the basics. How to send a cold email, how to. I wasn't doing enough volume. I didn't have really good scripts. I didn't know how to onboard a client that well. I didn't know how to kind of set up any of the automation. So a lot of little things over the entire system that you guys kind of just hand it to me. And I implemented did a lot of volume, and that was the difference.
Did you. Did you change up your offer, like. Or did you. Did you even have a conception of what an offer was before you joined? Or is it just like, oh, I do SEO, and that was it, and then, like, you actually make something that's appealing to cold traffic?
No, I had. Yeah, I had a. I had a conception of, like, what. You know, I read Alex Hermosi's $100 million offers. I followed you guys on Twitter, but I didn't have a really good offer. Looking back into, my offer sucked because it was just some guarantee, well, oh, 30% traffic in 90 days or something. And I thought that was a, you know, smoking hot offer. Um, and then I talked to you, and you actually developed a really good offer with me and something like, I thought six months was too long in an offer. Right now my offer is six months and it's definitely not too long. So a lot of those beliefs were broken and the offer was definitely a lot better after I joined.
Yeah. What is, like, how much do you charge for your services?
Right now it's about 3,600 bucks a month.
Do you have a. Do you know, off the top of your head, your close rate or like, maybe the stats from your cold emails or, or, or, or cold dms or like, what are the. What do these stats look like if you know them?
Yeah, they're actually pretty good. Um, right now my closing rate's about 25% and honestly, sales is the thing I put the least effort into, but it's still 25%. Not bad. I give a lot of that credit to the pre call sequences. And then as far as cold email, it's all standard. It's like 5 to 7% reply rate, 80% open rate, and I'm sending a ton of cold emails. That's how I was able to scale so fast. But everything's standard but above average.
Nice. How many cold emails are you sending?
A whole lot. I think I was the highest in team Chris, but let's see. So the 30 days prior to client ascension, I sent 2,500 emails, and then month one, I sent 10,000. Or sorry, I sent 16,000. Month two, I sent 39,000. Month three, 86,000. And then the last 30 days I sent 106,000.
This is what's so funny. When like, some people, they're like, yeah, man, I like, I really want to scale up my business. And then they just have exactly zero conception of what is required to actually grow the business. Have you started collecting case studies yet? Like, do you have them on your website?
It's on my list. Literally today I'm creating like three to five case studies. I have all of it. I have all the screenshots and everything in the folders. I just need to create them and put them out there.
Yeah, dude, it's. Everything works so much better. And I mean, I say this all the time, but it's pretty much the only thing that determines your growth, your company is literally just how many testimonials and case studies you have. Like, that's it. And even then, you already have a 25% close rate. It'll just pump it up a little bit more. Are you getting the clients really good results?
Yeah, we're actually doing really well. Like 90% of my clients right now probably are in a place where we're doing really, really good. The rest are just. It's a waiting game with SEO especially.
Nice. So what are you growing at a month? Like, because it seems like you just go in the winds channel all the time and just post a screenshot. Oh, just sign this person. Just sign this person. Are you growing like 20% month over month just like turbo ramming this?
I mean, I have the number specifically the first two months I thought were really good because this was a lot of money for me. So month one, so, you know, I started at zero. Month one, I hit 11k a month, 2, 13k a month. And then month three, I hit 22k a month and then I just hit 20 32k. So I was growing like three clients a month about. Yeah.
How many. How many people do you have in your team or is it just you right now?
Right Now I have three kind of low level VAs, but they're doing pretty high quality work. And then I have a content manager that does a lot more. They handle a lot of the business and operations. But yeah, just about four employees.
Yeah. For client fulfillment mostly.
Yeah. Yeah, all the way up.
Yeah. This is so interesting because for some reason there's like business owners below like 50k a month. They're so obsessed with like done for you client acquisition. And they're like trying to outsource the acquisition of customers, which is like the last thing you ever want to outsource. Which is just hilarious to me where it's like, for some reason there's like a large swath of people who really want a done for you solution to get more clients, like so bad. And it's the complete opposite of what they actually need. What they actually need to start building out systems for client fulfillment as opposed to acquisition. It's quite literally the last thing that you should outsource ever at all. And even then, like you, I'm of the belief I would personally never outsource client acquisition ever in my life. Which is just funny because, I mean, it feels something like SEO. Yeah. But it's like I want to. I want all of my ads done for you. I want all of my cold email done for you. It's like strange to me.
It's a. Yeah, no, I go learn.
It yourself, you weirdo.
I completely agree with you. I think at least in my position, I can still, like, I can still maximize my time for sales and outreach and all that. And I think out, like not outsourcing, but delegating the work for fulfillment is so much better because I just have to put out really high level fires as the business owner. But I still handle all sales, all outbound, everything when I'm launching ads. I went and learned the ads myself. I didn't just outsource the ads. So it's just a much better process and way of doing things. Yeah, it's definitely a lot more rewarding.
It's the more scalable way of doing it, in my opinion. Everything works out better when you do it like that.
It's just not needed to outsource sales right now, you know?
Yes. If you were to, let's say if we were to go back and talk to yourself, like a version of yourself from five months ago, like you, you obviously grew pretty fast. But if you were to try to, if you got to tell your 5 month old version of yourself, like, do this to go even faster. Is there anything that comes to mind that you would. That you would tell them?
It's so easy. I would tell my five month old self. You know, six email accounts isn't a lot. I used to think sending like 80 emails a day is just a crap ton, but it's. It's nothing. So I would say go send like 5,000 emails a day.
I've been remotely close.
Yeah, exactly.
It's so funny. All right, brother, unless there's anything else you want to add, thank you for coming on. And I'm going to leave links to all your stuff in the description, so anyone wants to go connect with Adam, it will be in the description and got anything else for me, bro?
Appreciate it. No, I want to let you guys know that I would like. You guys have done so much Client Ascension. The program is just so good. The other day some guy asked me if he should join Client Ascension. I literally messaged him for three days straight. I hopped on a call with him, I consulted him all about it. I think that just shows the value of what you guys gave to me. I'm willing to give a lot in return because I don't think the price I paid is worth the value. I think the value is way higher. So really appreciate everything. Really smooth program. That's all I have.
I appreciate that a lot, bro. Thank you.
All righty.
All right. Thanks for coming on, dude. Yeah, thanks everybody. Links in descriptions clientsunsion.com join.
