What's going on, guys? Andre Hakel Jr. Here from client Ascension, back with another student Spotlight interview. And today I'm sitting here with Kyle Svensson. Kyle joined Client Ascension in February of this year and now we're sitting here in December of the same year. And the progress that Kyle has made since we first met and since he first joined is truly amazing. And we're gonna dive in and unpack all that on today's interview. So, Kyle, please start by just telling everyone here who you are and what you're currently working on. Yeah.
So a little bit about me. I'm Kyle. I got started in this space around 2019 when I graduated college. When I graduated, I was going to go the traditional 9 to 5 route, as I had wanted to do for a long time. I was a finance major. I wanted to go into something, investment banking or financial analysis along those lines. Had it all set up. November of that year, I started to see my student loans and they were quite high. And I realized it was going to take me many years to pay them off. Realized that was too many for me to do. So I said, I'm going to make more money so that I pay them off quicker. That got me into exploring different business opportunities. I burned a couple of them. I just didn't like them. I was working my way around. Finally I got on the money Twitter space. That's where I saw Client Ascension around December.
Ish.
Before I had joined in February and I knew I still wanted to build a business and so I joined. And then here I am today. And what I do is I do LinkedIn content. So for agency owners and coaches, I build their personal brand on LinkedIn so that they get more inbound leads and they increase their authority in their space.
Yeah. So awesome. And we'll get more into your service and the work that you do for your clients, me being one of them, which we could talk about, but I want to talk a little bit about, like the indoctrination period. Right. So like, you worked in entrepreneurship in an online business even before finding Twitter, which seems to be such a common story for people in this space, even for me, like I was an entrepreneur for three or four years before I discovered money Twitter, quote, unquote. But what's really interesting about your story is with Client Ascension, like you, you heard about it in December and then joined in February, which is a pretty tight conversion window. Like just looking at the data. For students that join our program, it typically takes six months from when they first hear of Client Ascension to when they Actually take action and join the program. So props to you for taking action, But I want to dive into that a little bit more and for the audience to understand, like, what made you decide to join Client Ascension in such a short conversion window?
Yeah, definitely on the shorter conversion window side. For me, the real big thing was it was the opposite of why I had joined other programs. So I joined other programs because I saw an ad on Facebook or Instagram, and I bought in through that. I never truly believed in the opportunity and. And especially not the coaches or people that were helping me. So I got burned out really quickly. But when I went for Client Ascension, I converted so quick because I had been following Andre and Daniel for about a year before that, and through their personal brand, I trusted them so much. They had built such authority in the space that I knew joining their program was gonna be different. Cause I trusted them, and I knew that I could actually build a relationship with them in the program. That was a huge reason why I joined.
Yeah. And we've talked about this, but it's really full circle because that's now what you help your clients to do. Right. You help them to build authority and a personal brand on LinkedIn, which I just think is so cool. So we'll get more into, like, the specific work you do and some of the accomplishments you've achieved along the way. But what's really unique about your story is when you first came into the program, I think you were offering, like, three Facebook ads to real estate professionals, or. What did that look like?
Yeah, that was an ugly one. So for the longest time, I had bought into this course that was like, oh, like, you should sell to real estate agents. It's the best opportunity, best niche to go for. And I was hook, line, and sinker. I bought into it, and they're like, you should run Facebook ads for them. So I was like, all right, cool. So I spent about, like, a year and a half doing that. I made no money. I was completely burned out with the opportunity, and it just wasn't anything I was ever passionate about. I never liked talking to anybody that I had sales calls with. I never vibed with them. I never really believed in what I was selling either, which was a huge problem. And it just got to me mentally. I just couldn't take it anymore. And it was through Client Ascension, when I made a decision about June or July to just completely switch completely something new. I'd never made content before in my life. And I was like, you know, one thing that I've always been good at is writing. I love writing. It's ingrained in me since a child. And so I was like, I'm going to go give it a try. I'm going to go try writing for other people. And that's how I got into the ghostwriting space and starting to make content for others. And quickly, I saw much more success doing that than I ever had in the other one because I actually cared about it and I cared about the people that I was reaching out to.
That's so cool, man. And you covered a lot of the points and reasons for making a pivot in entrepreneurship and business. But, like, I have so much respect for you, especially because, like, for a year and a half, you're trying this offer and you're working in this niche and in this target market that wasn't getting the results you were looking for. And at that point, rather than making a pivot, most people would drop out of entrepreneurship. And so part of my question, I guess, is what kept you going? And if you can even speak specifically on your relationship with Mario, who is our mindset coach with Incline Ascension, and how mindset coaching actually helped you to persevere and end up where you're at today.
Yep. So, first thing about me, I've always been entrepreneurial in nature. I wouldn't consider myself to be an entrepreneur. I think that'll come with success, more of it, over time. I've always had that tendency to build stuff and to lead, and so I knew that that was always within me. And I set a vision when I was 23 to go on this path, to build this business. And then eventually I want to go into potentially building a real estate business and a financial online education company. But those are obviously later down the line. But one of the big things that it helped me was, like you said, Mario, Mario is a fantastic coach in client ascension. He helped me work through a ton of things with mindset and just realizing, like, man, you're in this right now just for the money, and, like, you don't even care about these people. You just want to make a quick buck and. And go live lavishly. Da, da da da da. So I was like, all right, like, I need to do it for money, but passion as well and actually serving people and getting them results. So Mario was a huge, huge component to that. I'm very grateful for him for walking me through that.
Yeah, man. And like I said, a lot of respect for you because you continued on that path and you actually took the action and you made the changes in your life and in your business that now have a positive impact on the work that you do. So talk a little bit about the accomplishments and the milestones you've achieved in this new line of work that you've taken up.
Yeah, so I guess, like a couple of things right off the bat. I've built an audience for myself already on Twitter, about 2,000 people. And I built that for myself fairly quickly. And through that, I generated, I think it's been like at least 30, like inbound leads for myself, which is more than I've ever generated in all of my time working with any other business model. So that's automatically something that I always look to. And I'm like, I'm proud of that because it shows that actually, like, what I'm doing and putting my all into it. And then other things that I've done, I mean, I've worked, done work with you. We've been able to generate decent amount of inbound leads so far through our relationship. Many more to come, obviously, and that'll continue to grow over time.
Yeah.
And then just continuing to work with other people and bring other people in.
Definitely. Yeah. And I think the biggest win, at least from my perspective, is just the energy shift from when we first started talking. When you were working on your other offer. You could just tell there's a big difference in, like, the energy into this new offer. Like, you're very passionate about it and enjoy working on it. So, coming up short on time, the last question I have for you is where can the listeners find you, follow you and learn more about potentially working with you? Yeah.
So where you can find out more about me on Twitter? Hekensen S V E N S O N the same thing on LinkedIn, actually. Just starting brand new LinkedIn account over there as a real time case study for myself, so. So if you want, you can follow me along there and then you can check out my website. It's autocontent IO if you want to work together.
Sweet. Thanks so much for the time, Kyle. Appreciate you. Keep crushing it and we'll talk again soon. Take care.
Awesome. Take care.
