How I Use Claude Code to Run a $10,000,000/yr Email List

Daniel Fazio shows how he runs a $10 million annual email list using Claude Code to automatically pull transcripts and data from HubSpot, Fathom, and YouTube, then uses Claude Cowork to generate email ideas and subject lines from that material. He shares 50 free prompts and a library of 965 analyzed emails that feed into his workflow.

All right. I'm going to show you guys my full Claude Code and Claude Cowork setup that I use to run a $10 million per year email list. So if you don't know me, my name is Daniel Fazio. I run a coaching company and a software company called ListKit. We make just over $1 million a month right now. And inside this video, I'm just going to walk you through the entire setup of how I operate this. I send anywhere from like 5 to 10 emails per week. I go extremely hard in email marketing. It's a pretty substantial quantity or percentage of attribution of how we make a lot of our income. First things first, if I open up here, this folder right here, you'll see I'm in something called Marketing and Strategy coaching calls. And what you'll see here is there's YouTube video transcripts, writing guides and principles, HubSpot marketing emails, coaching call transcripts. And now what this is, is this folder— I have automated Claude code routines that are grabbing that and putting it into that folder. And then what's happening is I, I'm using Claude Cowork to analyze that data and make emails off of it. Now before we go further, if you want the exact prompts that I use in Claude Cowork and the full prompts to actually set up the full routines, the first link in the description, you can download it completely for free. So if I over here to routines. Let's just look at one of these. So right here we have the weekly growth marketing transcript. So what this is right here is every week I do a coaching call, a group coaching call inside my coaching program, AI Assisted Agency. And what I want is the full transcript of this to go send to this folder right here inside of coaching call transcripts. So this is what the full instructions look like. Now you don't have to paste these exact instructions to do it. What I want to do here is just show you which ones I have, and then we're going to live walk through setting up a routine and exactly how to do it and how easy it is to do with Claude Code. So I have another one over here for HubSpot daily email exports, and then another one over here for YouTube transcripts every Friday to take all my YouTube videos and put those inside the transcripts from those also inside of that folder. Now let's go ahead and actually make one of these. So this is super simple. When you're initially making a routine, you're trying to like grab data like this and you want to get it from an external platform, you're going to need to give Claude Code your API key and just tell it to save it somewhere safe. But in this, for instance, here's what I'm gonna write.
I want you to create a new routine that runs every day, 5 PM EST. Inside this routine should grab all of the full transcripts of every call I do inside of my Fathom account. Only the calls from Daniel Fazio at clientascension.com and no other users. I want this to be every single call I do and that I'm on. I want to make sure this is right here. Save these calls as TXT files inside of a new subfolder inside of marketing and strategy coaching calls. Name the subfolder all Daniel calls.
Make the file name for each file the date of the meeting and the title of the meeting.
Make sure the entire transcript is inside of the TXT file, not the transcript summary. Also share what other participants were on the meeting if you can.
Okay, now I'm gonna just paste this and see what happens. Now the reason why it can do this okay right now is that it has my Fathom API key already stored somewhere. So if you were doing this for the first time, what you would need to say is use my Fathom API key here and then you would paste your Fathom API key. Okay, so sometimes when you're building stuff in Claude Code, it's going to give you like decisions right here. So daily 5 PM routine will catch new calls going forward. What to do in the first run about your existing Fathom history? Backfill last 90 days, backfill everything. Let's backfill it the last 90 days. And then should the routine also grab calls you attended but someone else on your team recorded? Let's do only calls that I recorded. Now the way routines work is this specific routine is being set up on my computers. Literally, it will only work while my computer is on and Claude is on. And it's like the actual, like, machining of what is occurring right here is it's being done on your computer. Now you can set this up to work in the cloud, but like my computer is always sitting here, like it's always sitting on my desk, or I've always got it open. So I don't really mind that it's doing here. It's actually very interesting because these will save, like, if you like back up your computer and like this is a Mac, so we use Time Machine. If you back it up and then you transfer it over, you go to a new computer, a new Mac, and you back up from a Time Machine backup, it will include all of this. Like it will literally just pick up exactly what it was doing before because a lot of these are just like Python scripts just like saved on your computer that run automatically. Okay, allow Cloud to use create scheduled task.
Yes.
And it's always going to ask you for permission to set something up. So I'm just setting that up there. Okay, so now if I go over here, I'm going to go back over to routines.
I'm going to do—
I'm going to click into that routine. And then what I can do now is click Run now. And then it starts basically another chat window that's within that routine. And then here's exactly everything that's happening with it. So I'm just going to click always allow. What you actually want to do is I need to set this routine over here to— I need this to go from manual mode into auto and save it like that. It'll just get stuck when the routine tries to run itself. All these allow things right here, that'll just get stuck. So I'm just going to set this to auto as well. Now if I go over here, you could see that all Daniel calls is now this folder exists. Now there's nothing in it right yet because it still has to run. Now we haven't populated it with any getting right now. So it's probably gonna go get all from the past 90 days. That might take a while, but we'll see. If it doesn't, then I'll literally just say inside of here, like, go get all the previous calls. So what this is doing is it's creating a script to go scrape all the previous ones that were not previously there so that it can populate this All Daniel Calls little subfolder over here. So once that's done, you'll see that all of those have been added. Now, the point of this though is that if I go over here and I go into Claude Cowork— when you use Claude Cowork, it's not just Claude Chat. Like, you click the Cowork button right here and you connect to— so this, this is that same folder right here that we're working in. And the point here is that it can analyze every single thing that is inside of there and then be able to write me emails based off of what is inside of there. So let's just use one example of something real quick.
Scan through my past full of YouTube videos and the lessons I'm teaching inside of them. Once you've done that, come up with 5 email broadcast ideas for me. Don't write the full emails, just give me the idea of what the email should be with some subject line variations and bullet points about what should be expressed in the email.
Now I'm going to use Fable 5 for this. Okay, so it's going to go through and actually just analyze every single thing inside of there. Now I generally don't like Claude to write the full email for me. I will say though, Fable seems to be a little better at writing, but it's still like, no matter what you give any AI model, it still just sounds like an AI model. Because like fundamentally, like it's a text prediction machine, and when a text prediction machine is trained on all human writing, and that is by definition going to make the writing average. What I like to do instead is get the idea for the email and some bullet points, and then if I feel like it's doing a good job, then I'll tell it to write some of it, and then I'll use some syntax from the email, like the actual full email Scripter wrote. But in general, I prefer to just get ideas about this instead. Now over here, there's a full lead magnet that I'm giving you guys for free. These are 50 prompts that you can use. So like, if I go over here, like, there's a whole ton of these that I've used. So like, identify the questions that came up on multiple different calls this month. That 3 different people asked the same thing. My whole email list is wondering too. Give me one email idea per recurring question. And then you have prompts about mining YouTube videos. So read the transcript of my latest YouTube video. Write an email that teases the single most valuable insight from the video and drives clicks to watch. Take this one video transcript and give me 5 different email angles from it. Analyze my top 20 emails by click-through rate. What do the subject lines, opening lines, structures, and CTA have in common? Turn that pattern into a checklist I can apply to every future email. I have 50 different prompts that you can download for free, including the actual Claude Code setups, like a full, like, paste of what my routine is and what you should put inside of your own Claude Code. So that is the first link in the description. You can download this entire thing for free. All right, let's go back over here. So all 5 video transcripts for the past 7 weeks, and I cross-checked the last 60 days of sends. The Never Again on the Phone Close. So from the Max Start of an Ecom Email video, sell the $3K flow build out free if they take the $3K a month retainer because you would never get this one person on the phone again. Subject: You Will Never Get Them on the Phone Again. The $3,000 Close That Turns One-Time Projects into Retainers. That's actually a really good one. And then this is basically telling, like, this is how you should flow the email. Getting a stranger on a sales call is the hardest, most expensive part. Once they hang up, the odds you ever get them live again are near zero. So never sell the one-time build and upsell later. Later doesn't exist. The move: sell a full about it for $3K or take the $3,000 a month broadcast retainer and I'll give you the buildout for free. They're gonna pay $3K either way. Now it's $3K a month recurring instead of $3K once. Works for any service. Soft CTA to the case study to watch it. I'm not an expert from the guy now at $650K a month. Max's first line in every proposal when he started: I am not an expert. That, that honesty signed his first clients. His outreach opener was I'm not an expert. The worst sales line ever written signed clients. These are just different email ideas that it's gotten for you.
Now you could do the same thing and basically say, now look at my past couple of coaching calls for the past 6 weeks or so, categorize what issues keep coming up, and then come up with email ideas based on that.
And then now we'll see what this outputs. We can also go back over here to Claude Code and see what's happening with this. And it's still going because this was like an absolute ton of calls that it needs to put in there. So like, for instance, if I open this now, you can see that they're starting to populate. Like they're going one by one and they're all just populating inside of there. Now, while this is working, if I go back over into here, you'll see that there's stuff like writing guides and principles. So you might see something over here where it's email marketing course. Now, what I did here was I've got about 965 emails inside of this HubSpot marketing emails right here, and that includes like different flows and all the broadcasts I've ever wrote. Now, what happens here inside of this email marketing course is this is like a profusely massive course of what does work and does not work for my emails. I'm talking like subject lines, like how a pitch is made, like whether it's a value-based email, or like how many CTAs should be inside of it, like frequency of the emails, what the flow should say, the click-through rate of every kind of email so it can be analyzed, and what are the specific types of subject lines that should be said and how it influences open rates versus click-through rates. Now what I'll sometimes do is if I want to ask this, if I want to go into Claude Coworker over here and tell it like, hey, analyze this email marketing course and come up with the full flow of what should happen after this lead magnet download, for instance, or after this low-ticket product download over here? What emails can I reuse inside of a flow that performed independently well as broadcast emails and all sorts of stuff like this? And it's just like a full index of like a full email marketing course based off of like 1,000 emails that I have personally sent. And you can just create that stuff like you could just do that. Now there's another one over here called a Master Lessons Doc. So what this is, is the Master Lessons Doc analyzes everything that I say. So that's inside of this folder. This is a scheduled task inside out of Claude Cowork over here to update the master lessons doc based off of all of the things I teach. Like, this is kind of like fundamental base of Daniel Fazio. These are your like core fundamental teachings. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. So like, for instance, if I open this, it just opens in a TXT file and it's just a profusely massive TXT file with tons of stuff. And that updates every week. And I have that as a schedule inside of Claude Cowork. It just reads absolutely everything from this same subfolder over here, just goes through absolutely everything and just updates the master lessons doc weekly. Okay, so now this is done. Here's what the problems with my coaching calls have been. Uh, pricing structure confusion, offers that structurally can't sell to cold traffic, nobody calls their leads, misreading ad data or over-engineering media buying, beginners misapplying advanced people advice. When it's working, students flinch. Email ideas: buy more chicken. So Oleg's biggest client wanted more volume without paying more. This isn't enough chicken. When clients demand more work for the same money, or your biggest client is underpaying you. Student's biggest client getting mediocre results while wanting him to eat cost of more volume to keep them happy. The retainer that's secretly a 50% pay cut. Scalped money. All these ideas are just coming up from like stuff people are actively asking me about and people are actively having problems about that I can make content because if it's happening internally, it's definitely happening externally on YouTube as well. And even like making YouTube video ideas, like let's give it, for instance, like here, let's do this.
Use the vidIQ connector to come up with good ideas for my YouTube channel right now. I want these videos to be high-performing videos. Videos that could potentially get 10x views. Make the video ideas based off of the teachings from my calls that you just absorbed.
Now let's see what this comes up with. Okay, and same thing, you're just gonna have to click always allow sometimes, and it's just going to go through and it'll show like random stuff sometimes that like is not relevant to you at all. But it's actually going to come up with like some useful stuff here, particularly while using Fable 5. Like, it was really good that idea generation much better than the other models. Okay, so here are the ideas that came up with agency offers you should not sell in 2026. I fixed 5 broken agency websites live. If you sent 100 cold emails per day, how long until you sign a client? How I run a $1 million per month business with Claude AI full system. Money-back guarantees make you more money, I'll prove it. Why your offer book zero sales calls. Scalped money versus new money. The exact pricing structure for a lead gen agency. These are not only just good YouTube videos, but good emails as well. You get the point. Like, the whole premise is like, just put hella data inside of a folder and then have Claude Co-Work be able to analyze it. Use Claude Code to automatically get the data in there, and then use Claude Co-Work to actually use the data. Now again, if you want to download this full entire document right here with the prompts and the Claude Code setup with like the plain English things that you should put inside to set all this up yourself, that is at the first link in the description is completely free. It's $0 to download this. And if you want to talk to me one on one, I can leave a link to one on one calls in the description. If you want to join AI Assisted Agency where we help you build $10K to $30K a month AI assisted agencies, that'll also be a link in the description so you can check that out. That's where all the case studies on my channel come from. You can start from zero and yeah, we've helped people go from zero to $30K a month. I'm not guaranteeing you that, but that does happen. We do have a money back guarantee on it. So if you think it's a bunch of BS and you can get your money back within 60 days, so check that out. Out. And thanks for watching. Leave a like, comment, let me know what you want to see next. And that's it for this one. Peace.
