How Jordan Makes $44K/mo With His Salesforce Consulting Agency

Jordan scaled his Salesforce consulting agency from $15K to $44K monthly by joining Client Ascension and implementing their systems. He narrowed his focus to tech companies earning $10–50M annually, hired staff, and built operational processes like a 72-hour audit and project management boards.

And then as of today, systems in place. Everything going on this last month just did 44,000amonth.
So what's going on, guys? Andre Hagel Jr. Here from client Ascension, here with another successful student, my man Jordan. What's going on, brother?
Hey, how's it going? Thanks for having me on, man.
Absolutely, dude. I've heard great things from guys in the community, including your senate success coach, Andy. And so, like I said, anytime I get that signal, I jump on it right away. Because I like to talk to students who are at the top of the program. Right. I mean, we've talked about this a little bit off camera, and if you guys have watched my channel for any amount of time, like, you know the theme. It's like you can join a program or really do anything in life and it doesn't matter. Like, you can't just co start. You actually have to do something about the information. You get access to it. A program like Client Ascension. And we're here with Jordan today because Jordan is someone that's actually joined the program and then used it to his advantage to grow his business. So, Jordan, if you could just get us started with telling us about your business. What is it that you guys do?
Yeah, so we are a Salesforce consulting agency. So we focus primarily on tech companies that are making anywhere from 10 to 50 million in ARR and then we focus mainly on trying to go in and better their sales process, automate things so we can save them time on repetitive tasks.
Awesome, man. Yeah, that's super niche. And one thing, guys, listening in, if you're new to this stuff or if you're struggling with your current business or your offer, like, listen to how Jordan just explained what he does. Like, it's super targeted. He knows his ICP incredibly well. The offer is super high value. Like, your offer stands out from the guys that are just like, oh, yeah, I do E. Comm. Email marketing. Oh, yeah, I do Legion.
Yeah, right.
And it's like, okay. And yeah, so does everyone else. Right. So the fact that you're super niche down into an ICP is huge. So let's just go kind of through, like your journey through the program and even before the program, like, what were you doing before? Did you start this agency while you were in Client Ascension or was it up and running before? And then how'd you hear about Client Ascension? Let's. Let's go through that story first.
Yeah, sure. Yeah. So I actually had this up and running before I joined Client Ascension. I had actually done this same thing full time. For tech companies before. So tech companies would hire me, I would go in, I would do exactly what I'm doing now. But I just worked on a team, and for that company, I was like a W2. So I had done that for maybe like five years and then decided I saw some other friends of mine go off, start their agency. I wanted to do that. So I started that. And what I was doing before Client Ascension, as far as, like, business model stuff, basically nothing. Like, basically trying to figure out little tidbits that I'm seeing on, like, TikTok or Instagram or whatever, what people do, but I had absolutely zero systems in place. And so what really hooked me is I actually had called like a year before and spoke with David on the phone actually, for Client Ascension.
Oh, cool.
And so props to you guys on your email marketing because, like, the newsletter is what sold me for sure. Like, getting that daily. Yes. So I read those daily and then it was just so in tune with the exact problems I was having that I just, like, read it every day. And I was just like, okay, like, Daniel's just sending me stuff that I, like, need to fix, and I would actually implement some of the free advice he gave me and it would work. So that's how I kind of had so much trust going into it. So basically, once I started making a little bit of money, I was like, all right, this is the next step I gotta do, because I don't know how to really run any of the business side of it and scale it. And so, yeah, I joined December of 2023, right at the end of the year. And right at the end of the year, it was kind of an interesting situation because I had a lot of luck, I would say, going in that first year where I signed some clients. Kind of the classic ebb and flow where I sign them all. I think I'm set for life. And then those people obviously drop off. So right as I was joining in, they were like, all starting to drop.
Oh, no way.
Yeah. Getting the panic button a little bit because I was like, I have no idea how to, like, really acquire new ones. Like, these ones kind of came into my lap a little bit here. Just from me announcing on LinkedIn or whatever that I'm starting.
It wasn't like a consistent process, you're saying that you followed to get.
Yeah. So the only thing I was doing before actual system wise was just posting content to LinkedIn. So I'd been doing that for a while. So I found some when I first started doing it that way, but it wasn't reliable. There was nothing in place. So right as I joined, I was making maybe around like 15,000amonth with the two clients that I had still left. But I was, like, really worried another one was going to drop. And, like, what do I do from here?
Yeah, you got all your eggs in two baskets. I mean, there's not much room for error. There's.
Yeah, exactly. And I had one of those guys, I had a great relationship with someone, and then they had gotten laid off. So I got a new stakeholder that I was working with that was, like, not really invested. And so I was like, this thing's gonna go away too. I just know it. So I was really glad I joined because I was like, I need to figure out how to get a system in place. So that's kind of what led me to eventually joining.
So. So, Jordan, tell me this, right, because you said you had a sales call with our team even, like, a year before when you actually joined. I always find it so interesting, like, reasons people wait to join a program like Client, essentially. Either it's like you told yourself you weren't ready or financially, it didn't make sense at the time, or you wanted to follow a game plan to then get into the program with some momentum going. Like, what was that thought process and what you talked through with David at the time where you were like, okay, sounds great. It's something I want to do eventually, but not right now.
Yeah, mine's a little different because when I called David the first time, I had a whole different idea in my mind of what I wanted to do. I was kind of more heavy on, like, the educational side and courses. And then the second round when I actually joined, it was I actually had, like, the consulting agency running, so I was doing some consulting, a lot more educational. And then I just didn't really see how that was going to pan out as. As well. So it was probably more of, like, an internal. I don't really have, like, a game plan for the business itself yet. So the next time when it came around, I was like, same thing. Like what I said. All the newsletter stuff was just super on point. And I was like, yeah, this is the exact stuff I'm struggling with. I might as well. Jo.
Yeah. Yeah. Awesome, man. And so, like, over the course of the year, in between that call with David and when you joined the program, like, what were some things that you were doing? Like, were you just really in the discovery phase of, like, what is it? I want to, like, double down on and go all in on or.
Yeah, I think the biggest thing and it kind of stinks if everybody else is like this, like me, where it's like you kind of get into that desperate situation where you're like, okay, what else do I do? I might as well invest money and like, what else do I have to lose here? So I kind of was in that situation. Obviously I still had income, I was still making, you know, the 15k a month, but at the same time I was making more than that and it was going down and I didn't see a way to recuperate it. So for me it was kind of like, I have the money, I might as well do it. They're answering a lot of the questions for free in a newsletter that are working. And I think the other big sell, I would say is like going and actually looking at your guys's page of all these same videos that I'm now doing. But I looked through a ton of those and I was like, I think I found someone in there. I think his name was Connor. I actually got connected with him for a little bit.
Connor Skelly. He ran a HubSpot agency similar to like what you're doing with Salesforce.
Yeah. And so I'd seen that you guys done a lot with like E Comm and things like that, marketing. But the one that got me was Connors because that's like essentially the same thing. I'm just doing Salesforce, he's doing HubSpot. So once I saw him in there and it was working for him, that kind of helped me feel okay about it too. To be like, ah, well, basically the same model as him, just a different platform. So if it works, then it'll work for me, you know.
Yeah. I mean, there's some truths to doing like client acquisition and Legion. Right. Just because like you see a bunch of case studies for email marketing and cold email Legion agencies doesn't mean it doesn't work for a different type of service. And so, yeah, like we've got case studies like you mentioned with Connor and some really out there types of agencies and services other than just the typical ones. And like these things work really all across the board, which is cool. So we're always excited to get a client that's really out there for us because it just allows us to open our program up to a broader market even. But what I find super interesting as well is there's this quote from someone I follow pretty closely in the business space. His name is Myron golden and he always says disruption, always follows intention. And so when you made the commitment or the intention to join Client Ascension, you were met with immediate disruption, which was losing a bunch of clients. And I've actually heard that on this exact interview style for multiple students where like, they joined and then things just started going wrong. And they weren't like, oh, it's a bad decision. This is all Client Ascension's fault. It was like, okay, it's time to lock in and use the program that I now have access to to help me navigate this situation. So what was that experience like for you? Making a big financial decision to join a program like ca and then. And then all of a sudden you start to, you know, lose some clients. You go the opposite direction you thought you'd go immediately upon joining.
Yeah, I. I took it more what you're saying, the latter half, because I was like, well, I. I guess I'm glad that I already committed the money and I'm not even thinking about that. Cause I just paid it all up front and was like, okay, I'm in. And then what I loved the most was the, like, the coach that we're all assigned. So I worked with Andy, as you know, and that was super helpful because not only is he, like, super great on guiding you on what to do, but I thought he was really motivational on the side of, like, when this stuff was going on, he was like, super clutch. To just be like, okay, this is just a formula. As long as you follow the formula, it's going to work. So as of now, when you have this extra time, just like, kind of take advantage of it, you know, take advantage of the fact that you have some extra time, put more time into the stuff that you need to learn. Because eventually you're going to get so busy where this is going to be difficult down the line. And he was like, spot on with that. So I thought just having someone else in the same world as me, same mentality, like, it's hard to replace that. Whereas for me, before this course, I didn't have anybody to talk to about any of this kind of stuff. So it's like, all in my head. And I'm like, well, I don't know if I'm doing stuff right, if I'm doing stuff wrong. So I thought having the coach going through that and just to kind of even give you a sense of calm and to let you know, like, no, you're putting in the work, you're doing the right stuff, like, it's eventually going to pop. Like, just trust the process kind of idea. That was super helpful. So I thought that helped a ton.
Yeah, yeah. If you could give the audience some insights as well. Like what? So we talked about this again off camera. But like, I have a couple of goals. Anytime I do a student spotlight interview, it's really to like help people listening because, like, this is on YouTube and like this goes out across all the social medias. The point is not to just show you guys, like, how great client ascension is. It's also to help guys like you. Like you literally mentioned this was you back then going through these videos on our YouTube channel to see like, what are other guys doing or what are their thoughts on the program. And so not only can you get, you know, an idea of what the program is like and the results that it can generate, but you could also hear what these business owners are doing during situations that you're probably also finding yourselves in. And so Jordan, like, what you do, what action did you take when you first joined the program? Ideally that you got from the program, like different leisure strategies or things that Andy was assigning you, like, action items that really helped, you know, turn things around.
Yeah, I think the biggest thing for me was probably that, like you're mentioning now. So this is a good call out because I wasn't exactly sure what the format would be like getting into. It had somewhat of an idea, but I didn't know exactly what I would have to do. And so when I joined, I guess the number one thing was just having the attitude when you joined to be like, okay, this is going to be a lot of work. There's going to be stuff I don't know how to do and that's going to be frustrating in itself.
Yeah.
And so like right off the bat, like I think the first week, right, like you and your courses, like you have us set up all these domains and I'm like, dude, I don't know anything about these domains, you know, so I'm like, even just little stuff like that was racking my brain. So I think having the attitude first was helpful. But yeah, going through and I think just everything in general I didn't know how to do. So looking back, it's like I didn't know how to set up a domain for cold email. I didn't know software to git scrape leads. I didn't know a software to send out the leads. I didn't know how to set up my ideal client profile. I didn't know how to set up an offer. I didn't know how to like look towards hiring new People which I now have people like working for me. I didn't know how to set up like all the operational stuff. Like, how do I actually set up like a project management board. I've worked with all this within Salesforce and I've seen other people do it, but it is different when it's your own business. So like having all that stuff where I would say for the person listening to this, if you're watching, it's like all that stuff kind of on the outside looking in, I wouldn't think that that would actually do anything for my business, roi wise because none of that really has anything to do with money, you know. But then like not having it actually has everything to do with it. So after I set all that up, that's actually when I had the capability to find more clients. Have a process to trust to get someone in like the funnel. Have a process to trust of like when to hire someone. Have a process to trust. Like I can get X amount of work done in a day because I have a project management board. I know how much time this takes me. It's like, you're big like the 72 hour audit. Like, I committed to all of it. So all of that, I think for me, when I looked again just to highlight that piece, it was like, okay, they're telling me to do all this stuff that I have no idea how that even relates to me making money. But like, as I just did it, it made me more money. So I think that was the biggest thing for me.
Dude, props to you as well. Like, that's not an easy thing to do. And it's probably like for me, like on the customer success side of the program, the biggest uphill battle is like not even getting someone to do the thing that you know is going to work for them, but just getting them the first believe that that's the thing they need to do. Which is just like so frustrating sometimes. So frustrating sometimes. But like what you just said there is just like music my ears, bro. Because like you said, you just decided to go all in, like fully commit to not just like the cold email part of the program, but like all parts of the program, right? Which is. Which is huge because it's like you can't just do one thing right. You have to do all the things right to have the best chance of success. And then also like, even though these things were so foreign and new to you, that didn't stop you from implementing them. And so what was that mindset like, was it hard in the beginning to Be like, yeah, this doesn't feel like it's going to work. Like, did you get impatient with the results? Like, speak to the guys out there that are just like, dude, I don't know. This doesn't. This doesn't sound like it.
Oh, yeah, for sure. Yeah. Because it was all foreign. So it's like learning a new skill in a lot of ways. Right? Like, you're. You feel like a child. You go to these classes and courses where there's people in all kinds of different phases that you're in there with. So when you're brand. Brand new, you sometimes are into like a call with people that are at the end and you're like, dang, man. Like, how do you get there? You know, like, you put in a. How did he get to that point? So, yeah, it was a lot of that. It was a lot of. And I mentioned that, like, frustrating towards the beginning. And again, having Andy to just be like, all right, let's set a realistic plan for like the time you have. Stay true to it. Let's just commit to it. That was super helpful to have the accountability as I chose to go all in. And yeah, going through it again, I didn't think that any of that would work. But to your point, like, the little things are the little things that add up to make you the more money. Like the 72 hour audit. I really, honestly, when I read it, I was like, I don't need to do that. And I don't even think I did it for a little while. And then I remember Andy bringing it up and being like, okay, like, you seem to be kind of like, busy with busy work. Like, have you done the 72 hour work? And I was like, no. I was like, but I don't think I need to. I have, like, a rough idea what I do. And he's like, just do it. Even if it's not 72, like, at least just do 24. And I was like, all right, I'll do the 72. And I wrote everything down and it was like hundreds of tasks. I didn't even realize I was doing all this, you know? So once I did that, that's like one of those things that's going to allow you to make more money because then it's like, okay, great. Like, half of this stuff I don't even need to be doing, or I could time block it and do it all on like a Friday night or whatever. So just the little stuff like that, that I guess when you're going through the course or when you join this course, you're probably going to feel that way of like, oh, I don't need to do that, or pick and choose, like you're saying. But if you just commit to it all, every single one of those things will teach you something, even if you're good at it. I would even say, like the project management, like I said in my day to day, I have to do that a lot for other clients. So I was like, same idea, I don't need to do that really. But once I committed to having my own same thing, it's like, how do I even. How did I function without it? I don't know what's going on in my day when I would look back and now I know every single little thing I got to get done by this date. And it helps me stay just super organized to make sure everything's on track and on deadline and keep clients happy. Which obviously makes you more money. So.
Yeah, yeah, every time it makes you more money and it protects your brand reputation long term.
Yeah, for sure.
I think that's great though. The 72 hour task audit is like, probably one of the most like, scary things that we, we try to push people to do just because it's such a tall task. But like you said, bro, every time I've ever had someone do it, they're always like, dude, I had no idea I was doing all these things. They're like, I had no idea I was spending this much time doing this. And I'm like, yeah, like, that's the point. Like, you think we just like spend a bunch of time making these videos and putting together this course. It's not like we just put together the course one time and just like left it there. It's like we're working on this every single day and you guys see it in the community. And so like, the work we're doing on the course is very intentional. If there's a video, like Daniel's saying is so great. It's like, if the video is in Kajabi, is there for a reason. It's not just to fill space. Right. And so I love that you've taken that to heart and I've actually implemented these things in your business, dude. So you mentioned at the start of the program you had your two core clients. You're doing around $15,000 a month. Fast forward to recently, whether or not you want to share revenue numbers, just give us an idea of where the business is at now compared to when you first joined.
Yeah, so like failing, falling apart, no systems Hanging on by a thread, out of luck. 15,000. So even if that number sounds cool to somebody, just know that it was also, like, it wouldn't have stayed at that. It was going down. And then as of today, systems in place. Everything going on this last month just did 44,000amonth. So huge, like I mentioned, hired some people, have systems in place. And I would say the most important thing is, like, a system that I know I can trust to, like, continue to build on top of that, too. So it's, like, cool. This is where we're at. But, like, now I have a great foundation of how to build on that to make it even more so. That's great.
Yeah, that's awesome, bro. Congrats on that. And like you said, the important thing is not just the numbers, right. The 15 and the 44, it's the where you're at as a business fundamentally, not 44. Something that can be built on. Rather than the 15. It sounds like you had to, like, protect that. You weren't even thinking, how can I build that? How can I just keep that?
Yeah.
Other than the 44, it's like, how can I build on it? So for sure that that's a huge transformation, bro, and obviously a testament to the work that you're putting in and actually staying true to the commitments you have with the coaches in the program. I have another question as well. So, like you mentioned before, the program, you're kind of. Was it like, freelancing, or would you consider it more like a job?
Yeah, it basically was like, even though it was like my own thing, like you said, the idea was like, I'm conservative, I'm protecting. I'm kind of like, more in this hopefully I don't lose it mentality. So it was more of like a freelance situation where it's like, okay, yeah, I'm scrumming up some clients, and I can, I guess, do this all myself, but again, no idea on how to use the fulfillment. I'm actually doing all this stuff. And I would say too, like, to your guys's point, another reason that I loved the course is you guys are also building, like, actual real businesses, too, outside of this.
Yeah.
So I would say that that's, like, huge, because then you're like, what you said about the Kajabi, everything in there is also in there based on other experiences. You guys are actually building other things too. Whereas some courses you see out there, it's like, it kind of makes you scratch your head a little because it feels like the money they make though, is strictly from me joining that course.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Added another layer where it was just like, no, they're legit business owners. And then they built this for us. And so, again, I think just everything you guys had in there was just, like, fine tuned to that.
Yeah, dude, that's like the thing I pride ourselves on more than anything else is like, we're always changing. Like, we go through Kajabi and we delete so much content on a regular basis because.
