How to Make $10,000 - $50,000/mo with Your Marketing Agency/SMMA/B2B Business (3 Steps)

Daniel Fazio walks through the first step to scale a marketing agency to $10k-$50k monthly: build an irresistible offer with guarantees and case studies that reverse the risk for clients. He prioritizes cold email and content over paid ads, and explains how to create a case-study flywheel that generates social proof.

You've got feast or famine months. You don't know what's going to happen next month. You don't know if your business can do good, it's going to do bad. You can't get people on the phone, can't close any deals. The deals you do close don't pay a lot of money. Your clients are churning so you can't stack mrr. You can't decide on a defined nation offer. You can't manage lead gen and sales and fulfillment and you don't have any systems or processes in place.
So here's a screenshot of us doing.
1.24 million with a marketing agency. 2.79 million with a consulting company. 551,000 with the SaaS company, 1.1 million on digital projects.
So if you have made less than.
$6 million, you should continue watching this video. And if you've made more than that, you can leave now. I won't be upset if you're running.
A marketing agency or SMMA or B2B business and you're experiencing any of those, congratulations, welcome to the party. Right, But I'm going to tell you that you can. I'm going to show you that you.
Can achieve high level of success and stability. Differentiate yourself, charge more money, attract a steady flow of leads, build a team and processes around fulfillment without needing tens of thousands of dollars. Have a diverse range of clients, keep your clients longer, not sacrifice your life to run a successful business.
So let's get into this. Yes, people actually do this. These are my clients.
So I got Dylan, 42,000amonth in five months. Calvin 33k a month in six months. Alex 0 to 20k in three months. Orey 20k a month. Colin 100k a month. Sam 55k a month. Scott 33k a month. Kyle 70 came up.
All these people make more than this now.
Benjamin 55 collected in a week. George 5k. Deal. Isaac 2.5k onboarding 350 for every meeting it generates for a client. Dylan, 10k a month plus 7.5 rev share. That one client will make him 30 to 40k a month. Abdul 8.5 thousand a month client. Daniel 75.6k ARR deal which can expand to 428,000 a year. Dev making 5.9k in a day from one project. Aon hitting his first 19k a month. Alex 6k a month contract.
Sam 26,250 project.
Cade 65k client. Kevin 30k a month. Connor 4k project. Matt 4,374 in revenue yesterday.
Two clients signed.
Booked a bunch of meetings for his clients, right?
This, this is not bullshit. Like it isn't. People do this, right? So let's walk through step one. You need an irresistible offer. And on the screen you have a picture of two houses. And I want to offer you a challenge. If I were to tell you sell me each of these houses for, for $100,000, which of them do you think would require more skill and be more difficult to sell for $100,000? Obviously it's the piece of shit. Shaq, what you need to be doing this is what a lot of people are doing with their offers. You are trying to sell a piece of shit Shack for $100,000 when you should be selling hillside mansions for a hundred thousand dollars. That's what you need to do. It's obviously easier to sell Hillside Mansions for $100,000, right? So how do you make your offer a hillside mansion? And I'm gonna walk you through this. It's facilitated in about three ways. So first is a claim, right? What is the transformation that somebody will experience after working with you? Because you will hear this a lot when you get advice from people. They'll say learn a high income skill and then sell the skill as a service. But nobody wants to buy email marketing. They want to buy more customers. So you need to actually translate this into a concrete transformation that somebody is going to sell. Nobody gives a shit about buying your Facebook ads. Nobody cares. They want to know what is the result that you facilitating the Facebook ads is going to get for them, Right? So you need to visualize it like this. They are in a current state. You're working with the client. They exist. At some point, what you are selling them is them getting to some specific end state. And, and the facilitation of them getting to the end state happens to involve you and giving you money. That's how it works. Too many of you, you're trying to sell this section right here. You're trying to sell the you and like the skill and, and, and, and the thing you do as Opposed to selling the end state, right? So commonly, particularly when you are a beginner, I'm going to get into this in, in, in, in more detail, but you're going to get on sales calls with the clients and you're going to hear something like this. What if you lose this money? What if you don't get the results you're promising? Who else have you worked with? All of these questions are brought up by the prospects because they are deeming you risky to work with. Everything that has been presented to them so far, whether like you got them on the phone from a cold email, maybe they went to your website, they've watched. If you have a video on your page, they watch the page, they read everything on your site. If you have social media, they went on their social media and what have, what they have been exposed to so far, if you are getting questions like this, it has not made them confident in their perception of your ability to take them from their current state to the end state. They are not confident in you. They are deeming you risky. It hurts more to lose $100 than it feels good to gain $100. And that is exactly what is happening to you when, right now, when these people ask you these questions. So there are two ways to reverse risk, and I'm going to talk about both of these. The first is through a guarantee, right? You either promise a specific end result or they get a full refund, or you work on a performance basis. It literally removes the risk. That's what you're trying to do. Because if you're a beginner and you don't have a lot of social proof, it is, it actually is risky to work with you. Everybody on the planet wants to put $1 in and get $2 out. Everybody. It is just so the specific case, if people are asking this of you, they're just not confident in your ability to take $1 and turn it in into two. It's just you, like, that's their perception of you. So this is a tough situation to be in when you're a beginner. And I categorize business basically between two halves. Like if this is like your first year in business or something, you have two halves. It's before you have case studies and it's after you have case studies. Everything gets easier after you have case studies. I'm going to leave a link in the description for a video about how to sign clients when you don't have case studies. But this is how this works. So the second way to reverse risk and what actually Is the, the your only job as a business owner is producing evidence and social proof. When I say evidence, I mean evidence that you can in fact take people from their current state to a specific end state. People want evidence, right? 80% of the equation. The entire function of your business has become a case study production machine. You produce a case study which produces a client because you have evidence. So it convinces someone else to work with you. And then you take that client, you get them results and they turn into a case study. And then that case study results in another client to which then you make another case study out of them which will get you another client. You see this flywheel effect. For every single additional piece of social proof or case study you acquire, the next client will become easier and easier and easier to sign. This is a very simple visualization of how this works. Every single additional case study you get makes getting the next person incrementally easier and easier and easier. So getting your first client is by definition the hardest one because you have zero of this, right? So when people are in client ascension, the most important thing that we're doing with them is, is taking every conceivable thing that they have ever done for anybody and forming it into evidence and proof and putting it on the page. It's single handedly actually the single most important part of making your job easier and making your business successful like this is how you get people to give you money by providing them evidence that you can in fact get a return for them. And it's not just limited to if your offer is make more money. Even if you run like a branding thing or like a, like a web design thing, you still have to show evidence of what it is you do. Or you design emails, you're just an email designer or something, something like graphic designer, whatever. Who have you worked with? Who trusts you? What is the quality of output that you are capable of producing? Everything is social proof, everything. Now let me, let me help you visualize it like this. Let's say you need to buy a screwdriver and you go on Amazon and you look up screwdriver and there's two screwdrivers. One screwdriver is $12 and it has 5,000 reviews. There's another screwdriver that's $6 and it has like four reviews. 99% of people are buying the $12 screwdriver. Nobody even knows what could possibly go wrong with the screwdriver. The most simple contraption ever created on the face of the planet. Like what could possibly go wrong with a screwdriver nobody knows. But it's, it's even just due to the sole fact that, that 5,000 people have left a review for this screwdriver, you quite literally will pay double just, just to account for the fact that something maybe that you don't even know exist could possibly go wrong with the screwdriver with no reviews. This is how this works. It's the reality of the situation. You just need social proof like actually, I'm not even kidding. This is how this works. Ignore this advice at your own peril. Next lead generation. So there's three ways to do lead gen. This is how this works. Cold outreach, inbound ads. And you could, you could argue other stuff like affiliates and what I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna leave that out then we're talking about this cold outreach, inbound ads. Let me walk through these. Cold outreach is linear. What I mean by linear is you get results in direct proportion to how much cold outreach you do. It is cheap. It's very cheap to do cold outreach. You can operate a fully built out cold email system for less than $300 per month. And this is exactly what we help people and clients tend to do. We set this up for them. Like we show them how to run a cold outreach system that actually costs less than $300 a month. It's a bit time expensive. It can, it's not crazy. It's like right in the middle. It's kind of fast to work. Obviously there's a compounding effect and there's a limited scale, but it's super cheap. It's, it's extremely cheap. It's extremely predictable. It works really, really well. If you are not running a million dollar company. This is, this is Primarily like in 99% of cases, this is how you should get to your initial first $50,000 a month. Like there's no situation where you shouldn't be doing this inbound content. So this is building a brand. Like you make a Twitter account or a LinkedIn account or a, or a YouTube channel or Instagram account. You're building content, you're building up an audience base. This compounds, this compounds extremely, it compounds basically to infinity. You can become a billionaire off this. It's extremely cheap. At a certain level, obviously if you're doing hyper high end content. But if you're B2B, if you're running a marketing agency, a B2B company social media marketing agency of any kind of your B2B, it's money cheap. You don't, you don't need Extremely high production value things. It just takes time. It's time expensive. It's extremely slow to work. But it has infinite scale. There's, there's no cap to how much.
Money you can make with this.
You will, you can make billions of dollars doing this. Actually, ads, they are linear. You only get results with ads as long as you are running ads. Right? It's extremely expensive. Takes a lot, a lot of money to run ads. It's time cheap. You can argue that it takes a lot of time to produce ads at a certain level of scale, which is yes, correct. It's fast to work and it has infinite scale. Before you're at 50k a month, you should be focusing on these two cold outreach and inbound. Why? Because you don't have money, you don't make any money. And I'm consider like it's about 50k a month, you don't have any money. You, these are the two things you need to do. This is the primary focus at client center. Why we set up 10 domains for.
You in the backend tech.
We give you descending software. We write your cold email scripts for you. We build your lead list. We get you sending 3,000 good cold emails per month. We monitor the campaigns with you, give you the swipe files, the best content for this that we use. Show you how to create and ideate an infinite amount of content.
Show you how to get leads and sales that come to you right.
Focusing on cold, outbound and inbound content before you get to 50k a month gives you the lowest likelihood of losing all of your money and going bankrupt. Ads can work faster, but 99% of you would just do it incorrectly and lose all your money. You need to be doing this. If you make less than 50k a month, you need to be doing cold outreach and inbound and creating content until.
You get to 50k a month.
When you're at 50k a month, you could do ads. It costs less than $300 to operate cold email and $0 to do content marketing. It's, it's, that's what you do, right? It works. Here's proof. Here's Kyle. Two clients yesterday, 7K MRR one straight from cold email. Here's Dan signing a 20K to 30K a month client from cold email. Andrew getting 15 meetings his first month sending cold email is all over. Getting 70 new leads from cold email and a day in a day. This is Marnix getting 30 sales calls in a week from cold email. This is Sam signing a 5k client. He's going to make 20 25k from the client off from cold email. This is Sammy. He signed a 250k annual revenue thing with with cold email. There's 40 leads waiting for him to get back to him. All from cold email. Cameron signed a 4500 client for cold email.
Ed closed a 5-15K client from cold email.
You need to be sending cold emails and we will help you do that at Client Essential.
We will set it up entirely for you.
So let's go down to fulfillment. The function of niching down is so that you essentially do the same thing for every client every time. However, there's typically a degree of variance of this. Typically the more you're getting paid, the more you're doing, which means more logistical load. This may or may not seem obvious to you, but all you're doing here is creating SOPs. For instance, we have a process at Client Ascension. We take people through the same thing every single time. And all of these points have their own processes and standard operating procedures with a specific person who helps facilitate it every single time. So each of these are points like what you go through when you join Client Ascension and each of these have their own process. So it's like you get an onboarding call, then you do an offer formulation with me and then we create case studies and then you submit, you, you submit an order to get your leads made and then you get, you get free access to sending tool and we set up the domains for you, we write the scripts for you, you activate the campaigns and then we review the campaigns on these calls and then we have you record the sales calls and then we, we review them and then we help you build content behind it. And then you submit your responses for your cold email to make those better. And then you start creating content and sales assets and then you, you start now you're getting clients. So you have to create a, an operational infrastructure and a client management portal. And then you do assets and case study looping and then you hire sales closers and appointment setters. And all of these have their own individual sops for it. So when you have your clients, you need to make something that looks kind of similar to this. And essentially what you're doing is you were making a course to where you could take some other human on the planet, inject them into your business, assign them some specific role and give them what is effectively a course to, to have them operate your business on that specific section of the business. Do you see what I mean? Right? And this is just the Fulfillment section of Client Ascension. There's a whole sales section, right? Like I'm talking about the departments of our business, right? Typically it's going to look like this. Like you're going to have the lead gen and the marketing, then you're going to have the sales and then you're going to have the fulfillment. And all these are essentially different businesses within the different businesses that have all of their own processes. And each step of those processes have their own outputs and sops to operate them. You see what I mean? This is all mechanized. It's super difficult. Like, you won't even know what to do in the beginning. And that's completely okay. Let it be dirty. It has to be. It will be super dirty. Like you're gonna have no idea what's going on and what exactly should every single client go through and every single day. But that's okay because you learn over time and you work with this person and this person at this person. And you found that when you did this for this person, this worked really well. So you tried it with the other client and then that resulted in this. So you made a documentation on it and then you showed tutorials of how you did it. And then you doing it over and over again. You're like, wow, this is a repetitive task that I can actually outsource to a va. Let me make a loom video and a sop on notion that shows exactly what to do. And then I'm going to train this other VA to do it. And then you inject them into your business and magically the shit that needs to get done for every client starts getting done. It's fucking crazy. That's what you need to do. When you do it for the first time, it's actually incredible. It feels amazing, right? So let's take an example. Let's say you, like you're an ad, you're an advertising agency and it's like you're going to make sops about how to do fulfillment. It might look something like this. It might be like, conduct customer research on the client's target market. It's like, okay, now you need to make sops about how exactly is customer research conducted on the client's target market? Do you go over here to Amazon? Do you search up competitors? How do you search up the competitors? What are you looking for on the competitors? Things. Are you going to the Instagram account or you look into the comments, like who's following them? And then you start. And the function of this is to extract angles, right? And once the angles from this are created and you have customer research that allows you to create ad scripts based off those pain points that you got from point one. So once the ad scripts have been created, now you need to get people to film the ads. The next point is contacting 100 influencers to create UGC content. And then you have an SOP around. How do you find influencers to contact? And then how do you get the product product over to them? And, and how do you make sure that you're getting the ads back from them? So delivering products to influencers and then you get back to ad creatives and then you launch the ads manager. Maybe you have a process to scaling the ad account over multiple months. You see what I mean? It's just one mechanized process that you take people throughout the same, same exact thing over and over and over and over again, right? All these steps have their own substeps and process behind them. And you should record yourself on loom doing every single conceivable thing, right? I said this before, but you're essentially making a course on how to run your business. When you hire somebody, you assign them one section of your business to complete those processes. Team members are replications of you. That's it. So you should join Client Ascension if you want help scaling to 30k to 100k a month. I have an absolutely absurd amount of case studies and client interviews and screenshots and results that you can see on this page. And we get results. So I hope I see you inside there. Peace.
